omenka: Watch out guys, soon enough, these same guys that ensured this was possible would come at us with the "Northern conspiracy to dominate" bla bla bla when general elections are at hand in order to divide the nigerian voters along religious (even though the speaker is a christian), tribal and regional lines.
I'm making this post so as to refer to it when the time comes, and I know that time would surely come. Don't you have anything else to look forward to in life? You still see yourself being a politics section warrior in 2019. What an empty life. |

masseratti: really?do you understand the word "assimilation"? Or you are going to tell me that the Emir of ilorin is also Yoruba? The Fulanis are nomadic and the settle everywhere they can,Saraki father said he is half fulani and half yoruba and you want to kill yourself claiming to know him, definitely I won't disclose any type of relationship I might have with him on a faceless fora. The guy you are quoting himself admitted that the Saraki's see themselves as Fulani (irrespective pf the reason), so I don't know why he is still arguing. He cannot force the Saraki's to be Yoruba if they say they aren't. |

Mynd44: Forget the House of Reps. It is a done deal
154 voted Femi 30 were absent. Femi only needs 27 more votes to win Majority of the absentees are actually from Ogun and Oyo so lets say he gets 15 of the 30. You are saying Femi who has been in the house for so long can't get 12 from the other side?
To forget that some members of the house want to decamp and this will be seen as a sign of loyalty
As for Saraki, I hope you realize that not every APC senate elect participated in the mock election, some were not present. A lot of Saraki supporters are not going to vote for him just to spite the Party when they know this will affect their re-election.
You can solve the rest You see your smelling life now? |

With what has happened today, I don't think Gbamigijala or whatever will emerge as speaker. Saraki is seen as Yoruba in some angles even though he is from the North Central and claims to be Fulani sometimes. The north will want a core northerner to emerge as speaker and they have an overwhelming numerical advantage in the House of Reps. South west has lost out |

bushdoc9919: The reason why I am laughing at you is that you made a comment which said that Yorubas have ''stealing in their culture''.
Such comments are not true, and are wrong.
It is also wrong to say the same things about Igbos, or any other tribe.
Which is what I am trying to tell you....but like most Nigerians...you cannot see it.
And that is why you Nigerians....all of you....will continue to have problems...together or apart.
Continue. If doing the right thing is nonsense....then you can call me that all day long. I don't care.....I am for what is right, even at my own loss.
Good morning....and be polite when you talk to people...you hear? Stop your nonsense preaching all over the place. It smells of joblessness, attention seeking and talkativeness. Once again, shut up and swerve. |

OreMI22: This is actually the disturbing mindset! Our people are forced to learn hausa to survive in the north, then those in their villages in Igboland are also forced to learn hausa to trade in their homeland! Someone truly has an arrogant attitude of being superior and our people have subtly allowed that behavior to continue Unfortunately, many of our people suffer from deep inferiority complex without even knowing. |

Let me go back to the issue of Languages. I am in Enugu now, there is this Igbo guy that supplies the abokii who operates a kiosk close to where I stay with goods. The Igbo guy probably lived in the north for some time and knows how to speak Hausa, he is always communicating with the abokii in Hausa language, all the time I've seen them both. Now the question is, if he lived in Kano or wherever and they made him to learn Hausa rather than him making them to learn Igbo, why not make the abokii learn Igbo instead of speaking Hausa with him in your own land? The implication of this is like with more people like him, Zonacom and Nnewis1stgay, we will soon be communicating with Hausa language in Igbo land. |

dayosaurus: Jeez!!! Bros borrow small sense now. How did tribalism come into play here?.. Iheanacho was poor in that match and reacted rudely to being substituted, he feels his bigger than the team, which affects team spirit and he was dropped as a result. Which is well deserved, Moses Simon who's a better player than nacho had played lesser minutes than nacho n nobody has screamed tribalism here... Please try to think before typing next time. How is Moses Simon a better player than Iheanacho? |

As for those who keep killing themselves about the fact that he joined Man City, watch out for next season. Last season was hampered by injuries and work permit issues, but the club finally succeded in getting him his work permit and played him in all youth matches after he recovered. He scored 6 in 7 of those matches. |

Whether they play Iheanacho or not, he is already on the verge of promotion to Man City's first team. He only needs to continue impressing during pre - season and he is on to greater things next season. |

Macelliot: 70% of goods entering Lagos port are coming down to Onitsha and Aba alone... 75% of importers are Igbos alone... How many do you import as an individual? I am sure those who do the importation will never come online to make noise as you do. |
