Now let's say you buy your locally made solar and I buy this one. I can actually turn on the ac with this. Yes two ac at once because my surge is very high. But yours will quench and you can't enjoy your high wattage appliances because you don't have the surge advantage.

Hello sir, I want this... how much does it cost now and can we chat on WhatsApp?

from your first paragraph, that's the yardstick to measure your 2 out of every 20 Nigerian uses Xiaomi? You need proper orientation in how to present a case you this marketer. Okay, if u follow your analogy, the remaining 18 out of the every 20 Nigerians nko? Which phone are they using?
The remaining 18 is your task to know. Na only xiaomi concern me. Oh and it has increased to 2.5/20.

youre a very funny human, you stated facts without source and I should believe your 'facts' cos you're ZesusHV. You are indeed a very very funny individual. Rubbish! Even the nonsense take on 2 out of every 20 smartphone user in Nigeria uses Xiaomi shows that you know absolutely nothing
For your 2 out of every 20 smartphone user in Nigeria evidence, check the xiaomi thread, or visit slot or any major retailer of smartphone in Nigeria for more evidence.

The Redmi10 is launching soon, but it's already a hit. Why? Simple, It's xiaomi smiley.. From chipset to battery, build and pricing... All hit.

AIMP: Best free music player with premium features.

When you talk about android music players, it’s difficult to ignore poweramp for designs and neutron for that professional audio tweak.

The main problem is, the above music players cost money, going by the current economic standards. They cost a lot.

With Aimp, you are getting almost all the perks of poweramp and more, then a few premium audio tweaks you can only find on neutron music player.

This is going to be an extensive review, let’s provide you with the table of content.

Table of content.

Intro to Aimp.
Features.
Customization.
Multi-extention Playlist support
Settings.

Appreciation.
Verdict.

Intro to Aimp.

I have been using this music player for over a month now. And I find it amazing that it’s free yet without a single ad or limitation to its feature access.

From the Google Play Store listing, Aimp was launched in 2014, with over 10,000,000 downloads from the play store.

The developer of the Aimp music player is Artem Izmaylov, from his name and the default language of the theme store, I believe he is Russian.

The last update of the App came in May, 2021. But the developer is very active answering questions from users about Aimp on the play store.

I have always ignored this music player whenever I visit the Google play store in the past few years. Until recently.

Features.

For a free music player, Aimp has all the bells and whistles of a premium player.

Fader: customizable fader support.
Themes: numerous themes to choose from.
Support for CUE Sheets
Support for OTG-storages and custom file providers
Balance control
Widget [I barely use this thanks to Niagara launcher’s default widget for every music player which is amazing]
Playback speed control
Playplist and folder play suport
29 band graphic equalizer
Sleep Timer
Online radio support.
Etc.

Please visit allroundreview for the full post, it's detailed with explanatory gifs. I can't convey the entire post here.

Lol an Android custom rom, you are saying it like it's an entirely different operating system. It's even worse removing Google Apps on an Android phone, because if you're not able to use Google services you are fvcked!!
It's an entirely different operating system based on android open source libraries.
Just like harmony OS or Chrome OS.

In the article if you read it, there is a replacement for Google service.

Well... Its not an original OS built from the ground up.. its just android without google apps...

Even if they promise privacy, we all know they are still going collect data one way or the other...

Google releases regular security patches for android and also android updates... Will the same Calyx OS get to offer the same security patch??

For the most part of android’s years, one major problem or defactor has been ‘PRIVACY’ related issues. This is where “CALYX OS” comes in.

Calyx OS wants to be the bridge that connects you to the Internet world then burns that bridge every time you are done.

Yes, I mean the word literally.

About Calyx OS.

Calyx OS in its core, deep deep down is ANDROID. Yes. Calyx OS runs on top android open source code.

What makes calyx standout is its ability to replace every spying app, service or activity on your android phone with something more secure or simply throws the need for that app, service or activity away.

Calyx OS privacy.

Most apps on your android device are literally a spyware. A simple Google search takes your private data to Google who then decides what to do with it; scary right?

And, if you purchase an android device the one thing you expect to see in there is the Google service. Which is Google’s answer for everything android. Google dialer [phone], Google messages [message app], Chrome [browser] and more.

Yes, these Google Apps are all closed source from Google.

Calyx OS when installed on your device replaces everything with Google on your device to something more privacy oriented and data conscious.

Take for instance, calyx OS replaces your average Google service app with what they call MicroG. This app does everything you need your Google service app to do [except make payments related services] and doesn’t steal your data.

For an exclusive, Calyx uses signal messenger to send and receive calls. Uses Tor browser for accessing the Internet and tons of privacy oriented vpns to secure your data even while accessing the Internet. That is how private the OS is keeping things.

Signal Private Messenger Review [Signal is the older sibling of WhatsApp].

Calyx App store instead of Google play store.

This OS has two inbuilt App store. one is your native Google App store [Aurora]. Also when you click on an app in the aurora app store, you are greeted with details like trackers and other possible means the very app can steal or invade your privacy.

While the other App Store is called [F-DROID]. This App store only has apps that cannot steal your data because they are open sources.

Like it or not, to access the Google play store on android or any device. You need a Gmail account. Calyx fixes this problem by randomly generating a Gmail account for your device whenever you approach the Aurora App store for an app [Genuses].

Calyx OS: an hidden gem.

Unlike most OS eg; android, IOS, palm os or even harmony OS. Calyx OS deliberately relies on public donations to function. This model has almost chained Calyx to a narrow publicity, because they cannot apply for public ads to bring calyx to everyone.

Also Calyx OS can only run on the Pixel 5 series for now and it was recently ported on a xiaomi device for testing.

Lets face it, companies like Huawei who are currently on the other side of Google may choose to adopt Calyx for their smartphones without consequences, even Huawei’s DuckduckGo search engine is integrated in Calyx OS.

But imagine if xiaomi or Samsung chooses to keep their users private by running calyx OS on their devices?

That will certainly rattle Google’s cage and may lead to series of cut service from Google to these brands. Seeing what has happened to Huawei, many oem won’t want to attract the wrath of the Almighty Google.

Conclusion.

Calyx is obviously the future of Smartphones and data security, but this future may never come to pass except smartphone users like me and you discuss the potential of this beautiful craftsmanship called Calyx OS with smartphone users who are privacy cantious.

Appreciation.

One of the few people talking about Calyx OS and even has a video on that is Mr who’s the boss . We at allroundreview wouldn’t have known about this amazing os if Mr who’s the boss didn’t talk about it on his channel.

Bigger thanks to Mr Bright, the mind keeping activities of Allroundreview going. He brought calyx to my attention.

Biggest thanks to you reading this and supporting the team with your invaluable contributions. We appreciate and love you.

Phones / Re: Nigerians And Their Poor Attitudes In Relation To Copyrights by ZesusHVWritter(m): 3:32pm On Jul 19, 2021
On the topic, I think it's poor exacting of the rule of law in this part of the world that has allowed so many people undermine others hardwork for personal gains.

I know how this system works, for this reason, I have reserved my work until I leave Nigeria to file for an intellectual property rights for a work I am currently building.

There are no upright persons or lawbreakers, there are people who feel if they don't get punish, they have done nothing wrong.

Sadly this mindset is deeply rooted in the minds of a lot of Nigerians.

Same people who won't support your work with a single retweet or like, will be the first to sell your work short or undervalue it just so they can make profit for themselves, without considering you the original author.

I can only imagine your pain Atheistandproud, you do have a capable mind, it's sad your work is being dwarfed by ingrates.

I did feature one of your work on 'ram' on our blog, and I was happy to insert your link, not because I knew you, but because everyone deserves credit for their work.

Hopefully all of us bloggers and content creators can help make the Internet space worth using by doing better.
