*BAMIGBOYE CONSTITUTES BOARD TO MANAGE ACTIVITIES AT AGUIYI IRONSI INTERNATIONAL SPARE PARTS MARKET*

_November 25, 2024._

Following the signing of Bye - Law establishing the market board for all the management of activities across all the markets in Mushin Local Government, the Executive Chairman - Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye, has kicked off with the constitution of a Five Man board, to administer and manage activities at Aguiyi Ironsi International Spare Parts Market in Ladipo area, Mushin.

The board which is being headed by an experienced legal practitioner and former Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Tourism Arts and Culture, also has a former State's enforcement officer as follows;
1. Barr. Femi Martins - Chairman
2. Mr. Tope Olowoyeye - Secretary
3. Mr. Babatunde Ige
4. Mr. Ajibade Olajoku
5. Mr. Emmanuel Dike

The Five man board, is shouldered with the responsibility of harmonising and protecting the interest of the local government through the following terms of reference;
- To oversee the administration of the entire market
- To harmonise all tribes in the market and promote unity among traders
- To report all activities of the market to the Council Chairman
- To manage the crisis and harmonise all the activities going on in the market, in the best interest of the Local Government.
- To formulate policies that will administer peace and justice among different groups and tribes in the market
- To bring all factions together and ensure that rates and dues are properly paid into the purse of the local government.

Members of the board will also ensure that all the parties in the Aguiyi Ironsi International Spare Parts Market (also known as Paramo market), are brought together in unity for peace to reign in the market.

The Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government - Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye, assured the board members of maximum support from the council authority, and provision of necessary resources needed to carry out their duties effectively.

In his acceptance speech, the chairman of the board, Barr. Femi Martins, who is also a son of the soil in Papa Ajao area, thanked the chairman, Vice Chairman, House Leader and management of Mushin Local Government, for the trust and opportunity given to him, to administer the market. He promised to enthrone peace in the market and protect the interest of the council.

The inauguration of the market board was witnessed by the Vice Chairman - Hon. Tunbosun Aruwe, House Leader - Hon. Olawale Ayegbayo, Council Manager - Mrs. Mojisola Gbajabiamila, Baba Oja of Ladipo Market - Nigeria Monday Lawrence and members of the media.

The board has however been mandated to commence its activities with

Definitely, a driver is a driver anywhere in the world , especially a taxi driver ( uber etc) so by societal standards its low on the tandem pole; but 75k annual income in the US for a household puts one at a middle class.
