It is actually one of the silliest comments so far. He prefers a nation of docile dolts than a nation who have folks ready to look at oppression in the eye and confront it squarely...

What a shame.

FYI I have no problem with ASUU making demands from the govt the only problem I have is the continual striking every year. It's not getting anywhere. And also pity the lives of the students and the present labor market conditions (5 years working experience and not older than 25).. my brother ASUU strike have turned 4yr courses to 6yrs excluding the 1yr to be wasted again doing NYSC..

If you look at it from the lecturer side who have nothing to lose.. they work they don't work they are getting paid, look at it from the student sides who are at the receiving ends of it. A lot of students have been home doing one thing or the other and if the strike is called off straight next time is exams. How do you think they would preform well?

They should adopt other means of negotiating with the government than striking.. Which day have you heard other African countries lecturer striking? It's a big shame and embarrassment on the part of Nigeria and the ASUU themselves. And it's not all the states that owing lecturers salary. Some states like Lagos State, Abuja and the rest are paying their lecturers well and getting their benefits

Please let them call of the strike and stop wasting the lives of the youth

Education / Re: ASUU Strike: Nigerian Govt Orders Universities To Implement ‘no Work, No Pay’ by zevous: 3:01pm On Dec 02, 2018
The truth be told is that ASUU should take a chill pill. It other recognized sectors are clamoring the way ASUU is always doing, the whole country would fail. What we have to first pursue is good governance and complete end of looting. That way there would be enough money to go around.
ASUU can keep going on strike like they are the only sector suffering..
Please other sectors are having it bad but till date they haven't gone on strike
NRC: our railway and trains is an eyesore for a country as blessed as Nigeria..
Airport: those who have been to Ghana recently by air would testify that Nigerian airport(all of them) is thrash compared to what they have in Accra
Road: bad roads everywhere for a country as blessed as Nigeria
Electricity: please I haven't seen light in my house for the past 3 months and I'm using prepaid meter
The list goes on and on.. University education is not the only suffering sector.. ASUU should chill and manage the little they have. Striking every year is becoming an eye sore and it's not effective anymorw

. which lazy man.??. Have u been to any federal school lately.?. Have u been to their laboratory
as well.?. Can u imagine that the departmemt of Animal Science the Prestigious University of Ibadan does not have the adeqaute distiler to generate distil water for lab works.?? when I did my program, we had to be moving from office to office to collect The water that was coming out from The Air condition. Haba! ! is that how a Nigerian university will be rated among The best in Africa.
The federal Government should also implement and order all political appointee , Commissioner, Ministers, Governor and the presidency to send their children to Federal Univeristies in Nigeria.
Until their children school in Nigeria, these selfish leaders will not spend adequately on our university.

A lot of people are shouting government this government that.. the truth be told if all these things ASUU are clamoring about be provide (lab equipment and all) please would it be properly maintained. We Nigerian have to check ourselves 1st and have the maintenance culture but asking for expensive equipment that if provide would not last 1 year b4 everything is not functioning properly again in the hands of students

For example, in Lagos State where the government invest a lot in road construction imagine people in some areas going to dump refuse on the road. Please in a sane country is that proper? And decomposing of those toxic waste would cause the quality of the road to deteriorate over time. Please let's learn to have maintenance culture before demanding to things

let me give my own opinion if i will advice pls go and buy camry fish light thats if u like toyota brand honda fairly use is a no no. thats my opinion.
my own opinion I see it as a complete waste going for a 2001 Toyota Camry compared with a 2004 Honda Accord which is more sophisticated in every way. The Honda boils down to maintenance culture. It's coz of the crazy way Nigerians use Toyota that would never make me tell anybody to buy a Nigerian used Toyota.. it's hard before you see people maintain Toyota Camry properly

I was actually looking for one person that has sense untill I saw this. A lot stupid people just want to say something for no reason.
The funny thing is Lion Air has a very bad record and one. Lots of issues from the past year and Iearned that pilot pay them to fly because they want to add to their years of experience. Instead of them paying first class pilots.

It's funny how everyone missed " the average age of plane is 25 years ".
Comparing Ethiopian that does long route to arik that flies only West Africa. They are mad.

You are valid sir.. the age of the plane doesn't determine it's efficiency. I read an article last night which explained that reason for the crash of the Boeing max a new plane with less than 800 flying hours was because of a new saftey feature that was added and the pilots weren't trained on it..

It has been revealed that Nigeria’s commercial airlines which includes the Dana Airlines and Air Peace , operates the oldest aircrafts fleet in Africa .

These aircrafts , which are mostly Tokunbo/second-hand aircrafts , are either due for retirement or should have been retired and taken out of service at least some years earlier.

Factors governing the retirement of aeroplanes includes pressurisation cycles, hours of flights and fuel efficiency.

Nigeria’s Arik Air has the youngest fleet of 23 aircrafts .They were bought new and they all have an average age of 11 years.

These includes four Bombardier CRJ-900 planes that are now 12.6 years old.

It also has one Bombardier CRJ-1000 that is now five years old, a 10.4 year old Airbus A340 and 13 Boeing 737 that has an average age of 12.1 years .

Dana Airlines has the oldest fleet of aircrafts. It has six aircraft, all MD-80s.The youngest delivered in October 2014 is now 22.3 years old while 5N-SAI is 28.1 years old.

Air Peace has 20 aircraft that averages 19 years. 13 of it are Boeing 737 with average age of 22.3 years ,2 Boeing 777 with average age of 18.1 years, two Boeing 737-500 are between 25 and 26 years old.

Medview has 16.7 years old Boeing 777-200(5N-BVY), 23.6 years old Boeing 767,and three Boeing 737-400 with an average age of 20.9 years.

Azman Air Services has two Boeing 737-300 and two Boeing 737-500 with an average of 20.9 years.

Max Air has six aircraft with an average age of 20.4 years. The Embraer ERJ-145 in its fleets is less than 10 years old while the other aircrafts are 20 years and above.

AMCON controlled Aero Contractors, Nigeria’s oldest airline with a peerless safety record, has nine Boeing 737 aircraft's with an average age of 26.5 years and two 17.8 years De Havilland Canada DHC-8 Dash 8 planes .

In contrast to the ageing commercial airlines in Nigeria, Ethiopia Airlines has 104 aircraft (the largest in Africa) that includes 23 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, with average age of 3.4 years, 17 Boeing 777, with average age of 5.2 years, 26 Boeing 737, with an average age of 7.9 years, nine Airbus350, with an average age of 1.4 years and 23 DHC-8 Dash 8, which are 5.4 years old.The oldest aircraft in the fleet are six Boeing 767, which are 16.3 years old.

Kenya Airways has 39 aircraft's with an average age of 6.8 years. The aircraft's includes twelve 10 years old Boeing 737, three 4.7 years old Boeing 777, nine 4.1 year old Boeing 787 Dreamliner and fifteen 6.3 year old Embraer ERJ-190.

Nice.
Most people miss the bolded. They keep telling you how a car is not an asset. I keep telling them it depends on your perspective of things.
To me, a car is a tool (just like your phone, internet mifi and/or laptop, office etc) to make business easy and boosting financial income.

It is not rice and beans to build a house and since its a structure you plan to live the rest of your life maybe with your family and children, you shouldn't be managing materials to build your house.

OP since you own a boutique, think of logistics like offering to deliver already bought items to their places, charge them for the services. That's another source of income.

LAND YOU WILL BUY, HOUSE YOU WILL BUILD.

God bless you..
