Red cross Africa reported that there is serious hunger in north east Nigeria and mostly kids are affected.
Red cross is asking donations from South Africans, mostly black Africans.

Kindly may you advise South Africans with what they can donate to help their fellow brothers and sisters.

As a result, private companies are not interested in investing in a league where state government teams participate and the Ministry of Sport has a say in its affairs. Solution? Privatise the league. Ban government owned teams. Have an independent body heading the league. Most importantly, Nigerians have to be rich.

South African universities are one of the best universities in the world.
SA universities have lectures from all over the world because their intentions is to be able to produce the best research.

The problem is that most of the South Africans after their degree, they are able to get good jobs and most of them don't continue with school until PhD.
The problem is that to be lecturer you must have PhD and due to that universities are in demand for lectures.

Unisa VC Mrs T Meyiwa thanks Nigeria for giving South Africa more lectures and she is still asking for more lectures from Nigeria.

Nigerians love football. Most Nigerians go out to watch street football in their area on Saturday mornings, watch football across European top leagues, but won't watch their own local league. The reason is corruption and mismanagement. The last time I went to Ogbe stadium in Benin to see a NPFL match, the referee gave three unjust penalties against the visiting team who were leading 1 nil at the 90th minute. Two of those penalties were converted and the home team won 2 goals to 1. All the protests from the away team fell on deaf ears and they were bullied out the stadium by the home supporters.

This is the reason why most Nigerians don't know the top goal scorer of their local league this past season, but they know the top ballers in their hood and the top goal scorers across European leagues.

A lot has improved since that time but our perception of the league hasn't changed much

Like someone said, before EPL became so easily accessible Nigerians troop to local stadiums to watch local matches but with the advent of Satellite tv, Nigerians went crazy for European football for the main reason that with little amount you will have access , those that's can't afford a decoder have numerous viewing centers they can watch from with little money

NPFL is not a bad league, it just needs professional managers if not it's products won't go on to become world class players when they get exposed to foreign leagues

From TV coverage to sponsorship to organization to financing to fanbase to passion, name it. Africa still has a long way to go.
