PresidentJosh20: And if God say yes that Nigeria will be great, will you dare object to that and recommend dissolution?Woman, you are not God that knows tomorrow. That's how many of those folks we look down on as 'never-do-well' ironically turn out to be our last minute saviours in days of distress. And again, there is a time and season for everything in this life.My prayer is that when the time comes for Nigeria to rise, you will still be alive to enjoy the dividends of her greatness;and not suffer the fate that befell the Lord who refused to believe Elisha's prophecy in 2kings7:1-25.Shalom! Stop dreaming and face reality |

olisaEze: The first South African President after apartheid worked to bring all South Africans together whether white or black. He set down a frame work for continued unity and gave everyone a sense of belonging irrespective of tribe/color/religion.
In Nigeria every tribe is pitched in a frantic competition with each other by their political leaders who would prefer the people remain distracted by inane arguments and fights while they make away with the wealth of the nation unchallenged. Nigerians tribe must be united like South African tribe. |

Efewestern: I understand the whites laid a good foundation, but the black leadership also did a lot to improve on what the whites left behind.
From electricity to good roads to housing units, the blacks made significant progress. I hope you aren't one of those who believe blacks are incapable of doing anything good.

No matter how you want to sugarcoate it that is the truth, they ( black south africans) know it, Africans know it, the rest of the world know it. # just saying... You are still backdated apartheid happened many years ago. South Africa hosted world cup in 2010, they created first bullet train in Africa, etc - sa is known for this |

Starcrest1: South Africans think that accepting the truth makes them inferior. Lol it doesn't, they should accept the truth; oyibo made South Africa what it is today and as far as they are still living in South Africa, development continues.
And that word "coon" is reserved for Black nations whom were overpowered by the oyibo people that they had to be crying to other Africans to help them. It's not a Nigerian term. Good night. You are having inferior mindset. Who controls South African government? Who build dams to ensure that all citizens has access to clean water? Who connected all citizens to electricity grid? Who built those Ring roads? All this things r done by government. |

Efewestern: They gave you proof of how blacks improved on the infrastructure of SA, but you still want to argue. SA is one of the most developed nation in Africa, far ahead of us, if the black leadership had left the country like they met it, it would have been the least developed nation in southern Africa.
Give kudos to those guys and stop with the inferiority complex and unnecessary envy. Thanks a lot for the good response. |

To a South African that seems pretty weird True Nigerians worship White People. They think that every good thing that happens in South Africa is because of white people. |

Asahi: So. There’s nothing that indicates facts. Your title is a statement. Not a question. Nor does it provide hard evidence.
This is an ego stroking thread in Disguise of fake concern.
Like I said I’d tend to the feminise issue in South Africa before policing other people’s politics.
And yes it’s about nationality. If Nigerians started policing other African country politics, all hell breaks loose.
I suggest you create a South African site to create the black dignity you so live. fact Is South Africa is developed and Nigeria is a third world country . South Africans are concerned with Nigeria problems, because Nigerians ran away from Nigeria to South Africa due to poverty at Nigeria. Nigerians are causing lot of problems in South Africa. If Nigerians can stop to be lazy and build their country South Africans will be happy. If Nigerians can stop to be cowards and face Nigerians problems South Africans will be happy. |

The high-profile arrests of several key figures in a contentious R255m asbestos audit deal may be the clearest signal yet that South Africa’s age of impunity is well and truly over. Scorpio has learned that the Hawks have arrested several individuals involved in the contract, including high-flying Gauteng businessman Edwin Sodi and top former government officials. |

stonemasonn: Nigeria has nothing to learn from South Africa.
Nigeria's problems are lack of motivation/will power to push for change, poor work ethics, clueless and unemployable people in leadership, pull him down syndrome and excessive love for instant gratification. You are right, Nigeria can not develop until Nigerians has a will to develop Nigeria. |

Quick fact do you know that Afrikaans and one other official language has Dutch influence, that means it is more European than African Point of correction, Afrikaans is the language spoken mostly by white people and its roots is from Europe. There is African languages that are pure African. |

Niceman12: Hello zhike, I'm not fortunate to see this thread early. But know That I have seen it. I will try to tell you my views of what you and Others' wrote above. Nigeria is a nation of different ethnic group And religions. So don't expect to see the same people with the same Behaviors and ways of life. In north alone, there are hundreds of tribes The majority are hausa, fulani and Kanuri these tribes and other few cultures are sahelian. This tribes are overwhelming Muslims and had been so for more than 500 years. They live in sub-saharan Africa and have long history intermarriage with Arabs and Berbers from northern Africa. With time their cultures and behaviors undergo some changes. They also use to leave some of their cultures that are islamically not acceptable (Pagan ways) and replace it with that of Arabs. The Hausa language is a Semitic language related to those found in the middle east. Also the Hausalanguage come from the Afro-Asiatic language family. But there dressing is not the same with that of Arabs there is also presence of tuaregs (Berbers) in jigawa. Also their are shuwa Arabs (Arabs) while the remaining are pure Africans like you and mainly Christians. Southern nigerians have nothing aabs or non-african in them (I may be wrong) Thanks a lot for the good response, much appreciated. |
