Kriss216: So, a graduate to go and apply for cleaner in a hotel is what you call employment?
You shouldn't be saying this in a public forum. you're embarrassing our Nation. Yes graduate can work as a cleaner while looking for his professional job. We also have similar problem in South Africa, South Africans don’t want to work on the farms, as nanny, as waiters |

Coldie: Nigeria has alot of employment.
The day u will know that Nigeria is trying is when a country like south Africa clocks 150million.
Countries in Africa with over 100million population like Ethiopia and Congo u can't imagine that level of suffering and poverty going on there, but am average Nigeria suffering has sth just that Nigerians have this hustling spirit, and naturally hustling requires u leaving your comfort zone.
Alot of Nigerians suffering a huge percentage of them are not suffering because of Nigeria its cause of bad choices, I know a guy who stays in a one room who sold a land for #11million he takes this money to another states and squanders it, like squanders everything when the money finished he comes back to his one room and joins people saying e no go better for Nigeria, Buhari your father etc.
We all know whose fault It is.
I know another guy that they opened a ware house for him with goods worth over 3million pay rent for 2 years with free house and feeding with a sienna. This guy finished everything if not for the person who opened the business getting angry the guy way on his was to sell out the sienna, his excuse is that business Is not his calling...lol
This list goes on
So Nigeria e get as e be.
In my area in rivers state where I stayed drugs is very rampant there's even cocaine in my area they call it charlie, i ask myself if these people are poor broke and unemployed how are they able to afford cocaine. My friend thanks for this information. Yes, General there are people who can’t run business. The only thing they can do is to work for other people. We have the same problem in South Africa. About population 150 million can be managed. Nigeria govt must ensure that each individual is recorded, Ensure that all People that are working pay tax and also ensure that shops pay VAT tax. Nigeria can have big GDP. In order to get everything right, Nigeria should ensure that justice system works. |

Coldie: This is not true Nigeria is one of the freeest countries in the world just that university supremacy and pride won't let lots of Nigerian's engage in Sim certain jobs.
When I was in pH I know a hotel that was built in an area with unemployed guys with an opening on the gate saying manager, cook, security, cleaner wanted I told a guy who was done with his nysc that was still living with his parents to apply the guy laughed and said whether I want fall him hands.
This goes on, I know somebody that is from a place whose dad is part of the elites in his community they have vast lands in his community that can be used for farming all those lands lie idle but he is in the city doing nothing blaming Nigeria and cursing buhari Sad to hear that |

Watch even if police abuse any Nigerian in South Africa they won't report him to any one cos they have never experienced a working and trusted government in their entire life. But we are experiencing little changes now. Started after Covid-19 era. Am sorry to hear that, but happy to know that things started to change after Covid 19 crisis. |

In South Africa if the state entity can report wrong statistics . We report that entity and justice department will deal with it decisively.
Hence most of you don’t approve this 8%, i wanna log a case against NBS. The problem is that I cannot log it in South Africa. Please may assist by providing me with the names of Nigerians entities that i can log this case at. Lets exercise our rights and held our leaders accountable |

E.g 90% houses in urban area has Bore-hore (private water), Generator (private electricity), we have electricity, some areas 24hrs, some 18hr some 12hrs e.t.c. Then we almost don't pay tax and don't care about government providing us anything. We have good road but not to the standard of South African road. Thanks for the good info. Rosskivvyy: Dude, NO DEVELOPING NATION ON EARTH is able to do that.
80% of the world comprises DEVELOPING NATIONS like Nigeria.
The very concept of being a developing nation is that you are still on the road to providing those things you listed.
If you HAVE provided them to ''all'' your citizenry, then you are a developed/advanced nation. Thanks for the response. Please note that South Africa managed to do that. |

WoundedLamb: Nigeria is a large country. Everything is big over there including the market which is the largest in Africa. So unemployment might actually be low. But then, there's underemployment. People are working but not earning as much as they should. Again, Nigerians being everywhere is a function of population. Just like other super populated developing countries like India and China, it is not out of place to see Nigerians in other countries.
Please, take my contribution with a pinch of salt, I don't live in Nigeria and can't really know beyond the information I gather from my network. I perceive you are South African, what is the situation in terms of employment over there? Unemployment rate in South Africa is 30%, and many people are worried. |

happy200: Like i said earlier, our unemployment rate is higher than 8%, but if I/we want to tell people the truth. Nigeria has never been efficiently managed like it's being managed now. A lot has changed here, if you judge Nigeria based on what you see on net you will always think it's bad here. The reason is we have in house enemy which is (IPOB) who has sworn to tarnish Nigeria's image on net and abroad. Thanks for the info. Does Nigeria able to provide all citizens with basic necessities Such as clean water, electricity, good road, Food to less privileged and Shelters to less privileged. |

Their own problem is racial inferiority complex, self hate and low self esteem.
That is why they only attack those who look like them. My friend let’s not cause fight were there is no fight. In this forum I never spoke about Nigerians influxing to South Africa. I think it will be better for us to read the post before we reply. |
