Ghajini. One of the main actors is dead. Jiah Nafisa Khan, the most beautiful Indian woman that lived. Allegedly committed suicide. Painful death though in some quarters, it's believed her boyfriend murdered her.

Have you seen Nishabd? That's her first movie and with Amitabh Bachan. She was 18. Such beauty. Great talent.

The Indian movies of these days are wacky. Nothing can compare to the good old days. There's no Indian movie I didn't watch in my time. Anyway, you should see BLACK. Amitabh and one excellently brilliant actress featured in it. My favorite movie in this current time following Nishabd.

I would like to point out that this is the social construct in Nigeria mostly as we haven't fully evolved out of the cultural conformist chains that hold us back.

I get your point and agree to the fact that living your life in a non-conformist way is the best. But if you're a woman who genuinely desires to have a home and children, these things will eventually get to you, especially when you know you deserve more.

Pls, let's call a spade a spade. In our world, marriage is everything. If you're a single lady, approaching 35 and still insisting marriage isn't everything, then you're in denial or probably have a good support system. But what about society? People will size you up based on your single status and look down on you cos you haven't any offspring yet.

This is a sweeping generalization, one made from a myopic and very bitter view point. Everybody's situation is different. I know for sure that life has been unfair to some. I, for one, do not fall in the category of women you described. Some were naive, some dated the wrong people. Well, life happens.
