Just that in my case the wife's passport has a little more than 6 months to expire. If we wait for it to get to 6 months Mark, the 15 days Grace would have passed, so I am wondering if the passport can be seen as at least six months or we mail Accra to ask for way forward?

Hi guys. Great and fantastic work happening here.

Please we got the ready for visa mail. However, madam passport has 6 months 20 days to expire. We cannot renew the passport since it is not 6 months yet. And the mail also says the passport must be at least 6 months for passport submission.

Question is can we send the passport to Accra since it isn't 6 months before submission. We also need to send the passports within 15days of ready for visa mail.

Has anyone submitted their passport within a few days to expiration and gotten their passport stamped.

Thanks for any advise given.

I think you should first go to VFS and try to get the biometrics done. Then raise CSE with an explanation.

You were supposed to capture.
Even if you get refused a PR application after biometrics, and you reapply, you will need to capture again.
The person at the VFS center misled you.

Hello house,

Please i need help/ clarification.

We were asked for biometrics in December 2018, but when we got there, the person capturing said I don't need to capture because i did one during my visitor visit visa process and it still valid. And true to what she said, before going for the capture, our app has already updated my biometrics number and valid date of expiring (2024).

So my wife captured but i didn't.

From my GCMS notes i got few days ago, i can see that my wife passed criminality but mine is saying biometrics not received. However, my biometric information is still in the app, and after my wfe captured the biometric part of the app shows completed.

I am now confused as to the reason my GCMS states that biometrics in progress.

Has anyone experienced this?

So what made you think I wouldn’t have passed this exam if whether I attempted to look at other’s answer sheet or not? No one plans to cheat in an exam like IELTS. It just happened that my eyes caught a view of their answer sheets. Well for your info, the person I looked into his sheet failed the exam. So I will say I fully merited my scores. Someone can’t someone cheat in writing or speaking, hope you know that. I only aired what happened in the exam. I have owned up to it. It is malpractice, I know, accept. But it was never premeditated.

People who haved passed this exam have done similar but they haven’t said so. So stop all your ‘holier than thou’ attitude.

I want to move that the moderators of this page ban this person. This is not the type of attitude we want here. If you cheated, please keep it to yourself. The fact you had to come here and state it is a problem!!!

Or you can just upload the data page and leave it at that. Newmum said she had a valid visa in her expired passport and still didn't upload it.

So I'm settling for uploading my current passport and previous visa/stamps for the previous passports and leaving out the bio data pages of my two expired passports

Would that be ok?

You can raise a CSE after AOR to include your brand new wife... Note that the date on the marriage certificate MUST be after AOR.

This matter was tackled in part 5 and the final consensus is; upload only your current valid passport data page and visa/stamps in the current passport.

But if I remember correctly, the [? - more infor] part of the upload stated that all travel docs. so I uploaded my current passport first with the travel visas and then the former passport with their visas. no harm including everything, instead of getting ADR for that little thing.

While the originator (Kudos to them) of this group has done an incredible job of informing us of almost every aspect of this journey, there are still questions that may arise especially in between ITA and AOR. what is bad if a person asks a question like the one I had to answer and politely told @Helpgirl above not to use an important issue to joke. We will soon end this thread for another part and questions like IELTS and ECA upload isn't crystal clear in the form. And from the watsapp group I belong, people have had ADR and some rejection threat because of this IELTs and ECA. So I was upset when he/she decided to joke with such an important question. Apologies to @Helpgirl, you and folks that didn't like how the convo went.

In order good news... I have a slot in Qlife for November 27th - family of four if anyone is interested. I don't know how the swap thing works, but I am sure people have done it and are successful.

Please lets not jokingly misinform people o. This is serious business. After you've filled out the first form (with ALL your details), the next stage is uploading of documents. You will scan your IELTS result, ECA evaluation result and ALL relevant educational certificates as ONE file and save in the 'Education upload' section.

Please I have a question.

My wife was denied UK Visa in 2008. She cannot remember the reference or reason given verbatim for the rejection, but it was along the lines of insufficient funds and invitation letter. This is some 10 years ago and she has since travelled to a few countries. Her passport used during the submission isn't with her now because it was collected when she applied for passport change of name after marriage.

We ticked yes to the part in the ITA form; have you been denied a visa blah blah blah... and also explained that the reason or reference for rejection isn't clear to us again and we don't have the slip anymore for reference.

Question is: should we also attach a letter of explanation stating the reason why we can't remember or reason we can not give a reference number?

Try IOM Ikeja Lagos. I was able to reserve an appointment. I think they slots from 9th November.

We tried BC IELTs 2 times and each time we missed the perfect score by 0.5. Started assuming its on purpose, so we tried MOD IDPs and vam!! perfect score first trial. and they are cheaper than BC and take exams every week. so the choice is yours.

between BC and MOD IDP which is better to write IELTS?

You can also do your medicals at IOM Ikeja should in case you don't get anybody to give you their slot.

Hello house, great work you're all doing here. Please I want to ask for a favour. I tried booking medicals test at Q-life and children specialist hospital but couldn't. Q-life says middle of December by which time my 60 days for submission would have ended. Children specialist aren't taking any more appointments this year. This is a big problem for me. Please is there anyone that booked a slot in any of these hospitals and doesn't need it anymore? Please help me out.
