It’s either you were born in Ikpoba Okha or you were born in Oredo. Stick with what’s on your NIN. Even if they capture you, you may encounter NIN verification issues. Also there’s a reason there are several LGA in a state. They are all not the same thing.

Yes. You pay online, upload a court affidavit and get the soft copy in minutes.

Get the NPC birth certificate. You will still need it for your visa applications or when you leave Nigeria. It’s 3k

I just came back from the immigration office in Benin city. I went with my sister to capture and she’s a DIY candidate. We got there by 8am and the lady doing the payment confirmation came late, they took over 3hours to attend to us. By past 10am, they confirmed it and when went downstairs for verification and afterwards, capturing where they demanded another 1k. We spent around 4hrs in total there and aside the previous listed shortcomings, the process was smooth.

You need NPC. If you go with age declaration, they will try to extort you. Best of luck.

Your FRSC drivers license is ALL you need.

There's no need or such thing as an international driver's license. The former has become unnecessary since FRSC upgraded Nigerian driving license over a decade ago..

You can get fully funded MS or PhD admission with just your HND in the US. One school that accepts HND is western Virginia university. There are others, but they require Wes evaluation. Wes is a third party credential evaluation provider. You can do more research on this on google, use Nairaland’s search bar and join the US student visa. Also, google “HND wes evaluation Nairaland”

Something similar happened to someone I know. I believe the agent has opened a new account and given you the logins to that account and not the account the application was made from. I suspect he used fraudulent documents and there’s a ban on you. Wait for your GCM notes

Please for people with valid US student visa and expired Schengen visa (from more than 10years ago) how many years validity does Canada give? Is it 5years multiple entry?

Please learn how to drive in Nigeria go to proper driving school and get your driving license.
You can use your FRSC driving license to drive in Maryland. It's valid for 1 yr I think before you have to get the states driving license.
You can search for DMV Maryland for regulations about using foreign drivers license in the state.

Also important for you to download the book on signs etc as this is different from signs in Nigeria.

When u start admission process u re entitled to have admission number and the number allows u to continue in a specified time. so u can stopped admission and continue after some time. Its different to defer. U cant defer the adm without i20 and sevis id.

@villa12 dont mind them because they will advised u towards failure. Login to ur appli ation portal n did it reflects your admission status as admitted ? Isssuing of I 20 secures ur admission to the point of no return.

Someone that’s not mentally stable? For schools that allow deferrals, you can absolutely defer your admission without needing an i20.

I have been wanting to create this thread for a long time now, work and time didn't allow me.

So since Nigeria is at home to day I have enough time to do so.

My problem is that i have a twin (boys) and they are just 1yr old.

This means I have named them. These boys are systematically fantastically accurately and perfectly identical.

Good Morning house, I need some advise to apply for a visitor visa for my wife and the kids to come and visit me in Canada.

Also, i recently applied for a semester break to resume my second semester in September 2024 instead of May 2024, which is already approved and i was issued a leave approval letter from the school.

My question now is that should i include the leave approval letter for semester break in their application or i should not mention it? because i mentioned i needed a semester break due to unexpected marriage conflict in the course of my absence around my family, which has increasingly been difficult for me to concentrate with my studies and this really affecting my mental health.

Can i also state this as their reason to visit me in Canada for duration of 2 weeks?

Note: They were recently refused in January 2024 for SOWP & Study visa for the kids because i didn't included my own bank account and despite that my wife had a sufficient funds in her bank account with the proof of funds.

Is the wife and kid the same black America fiancé you’re hoping to get a marriage based Green card from? I hope you know that the US and Canada share immigration information? If you’ve previously told Canadian immigration that you’re married, you can’t change that now. If you do get a divorce this year and apply for a k1 visa this year, be sure to know that it will be refused and if you are caught lying like I suspect you will, you may be banned for life.
