malali:I don't get your point about NATO here. Has NATO banned Israel? I think you should be highlighting the effect this will have on Israel on individual basis for Turkey as a nation, and not NATO. You are being over excited. We all know that, the father of NATO and the strongest of NATO, which is USA has unquestionable backing to Israel. |
PigTormentor:I think the people who are well informed about the situation than us understood the complicated situation this is. There were wrongs on both sides and it doesn't matter who initiated the wrong at this point. However, the lady has a more weighty case against the airline and all involved for making her naked and leaking it to the world. Both the airline and the ministries involved understood this perfectly and saw the need to deescalate immediately. |
BodyCount:But NCAA said what KWAM 1 didwas tantamount to terrorism in most climes we compare ourselves to. What is more serious between assault and terrorism? Again be sincere, what KWAM 1 did and the action taken by authorities, do you think if you were the one that did that, would be in your house now and not somewhere in Kuje? |
How come Israel uses these jets in constant wars and has not reported a single crash for years? Is it that their system is too good? |
Let the entire Gaza population move to France right away. Trump and BIBI search for a Country to empty the Gazans inside has automatically ended |
gbaskiboy:Not with what I saw in his constituency the last time I visited his area. The man has practically transformed Ilaro and many areas in the constituency. If he keeps that work up as a governor, then, it will be hard for anyone to compete with Ogun |
CoronaVirusPro:Good, let the war continue as the islamists are having back to back Victories. Congratulations to the winning team |
Paramount01:No, it's never done like that. You are getting it upside down. People's appointment letters carry specific pay dates, and infact, if such a day falls on a weekend or public holiday, it is stated clearly that they will be paid a day earlier. Anything after that date without payment is simply delay in payment. In your logic now, assuming the government does not pay on the 7th again but on the 15th of next month, then continue again on the 15th, they should keep quiet because it is from 15th to 15th. Come on, you too look at it very well. Does it make sense? But that is exactly what happened. They are just shifting the salary pay date at will. Please, this failure is indefensible if we are sane and we want a sane Country as others. We should be bigger than this and people must be accountable on their jobs. Preparing and paying salaries should not be rocket science in this century |
Paramount01:The issue is many of you fail to read articles or read but don't comprehend. Go and read it again. 1. ASUU said this is not once or one off situation. It is repeatedly occuring with varying periods of delay. 2. They had meetings with the Minister of Education and the Accountant general over this to no avail. So what are you talking about one week? |
Lanretoye:Exactly the silly defence of an average Nigerian who take everything as an attack on the government they support. I knew exactly that your defense of this ineptitude is just because the failure brought to light will make your supported government look bad. So how is it that the reasons you give for failure are recurring without solution? Who is to provide solution to the failures if not the same government? A government that delay salaries repeatedly and people are shamelessly defending them? No wonder we continue being where we are and worse. Again, non of the reasons you are fronting for your dear government are not mentioned in the article. The main reason is clearly stated as human ineptitude by some unserious morons holding positions, being paid and not doing their jobs. Instead of you to attack them, you are beating about the bush. They are the ones painting your government bad and not the victim, ASUU |
Lanretoye:Why will the salary be delayed in the first place? Some people's only job is to pay salaries and they are failing woefully. Instead of you to hold them accountable, you chose to blame the victim. How can our nation be better with this mentality, when something as little as paying people who have worked can't be sorted hitch free? This, as they said is a repeated occurrence and not only June, if you didn't read. |
mariovito:It is better they should go for Iran's air defense system. It can offer maximum protection as we saw weeks ago |
zoghys:Well, no matter what Iran does, they will stand to loose triple of what Israel stands to loose. Head or tail, this is a big failure to Iran on all levels. Israel is just many steps ahead of them. |
zoghys:Sometimes it is not correct to speak these things in isolation to other factors. How do you want to handle someone, whose sole ambition is to wipe you off the face of the earth? Do you think Iran's threat to Israel are mere rhetorics? Iran has taken serious and practical steps to destroy Israel by sponsoring Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, several armed militias in Iraq and Syria. If not that Israel is a no nonsense nation, these groups would have annihilated it since. Why can't Iran thread the path of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and UAE? Instead, they choose terrorism and violence. Well, they should deal with what they have put themselves in. |
zoghys:It is not a question of you being a terrorist, it is of how Iran as a Nation has failed embarrassingly against Israel militarily. How can your most important people in generals and scientists be taken out in your backyard so cheaply, regardless of preemptive attack or not? Clearly, Iran is nowhere near Israel. |
gigabyte13:This is very shameful. It should be happening with Syria or Lebanon, not a country of Iran's status. Perhaps, they are grossly overrated or perhaps, Israel is far more superior to them, or both |
SmartEnergyng:It is quite disappointing to see Iran respond in such a feeble manner, considering how their supporters here hype them. For loosing top generals in their country in the first place is a big failure of the highest order. I didn't expect a country of Iran's status to suffer that way. Such should be expected to happen to Lebanon or Syria, not Iran. Going by their response, even Hezbollah did better than them, at least they managed to kill a few Israeli soldiers. Iran is truly not near Israel militarily |
This is not looking good for Iran. Their airspace is wide open and Israel will do maximum damage at will, considering how powerful their air force is. |
Hmmm, Israel wants to finish the job once and for all. The middle east is something else, full of extremists in ideologies. Iran had the power to curb all these, with their control over Gammas and the likes of Houthis, Hezbollah. But they didn't. What were they expecting? Israel is never a Country that can hold back. It is a warrior nation always ready to go full circle. A retaliation by Iran will likely attract more brutal blows by Israel. Why can't this other Islamic nations in the middle east just emulate Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE and be prosperous instead of creating wars? |
This is good to hear. We need to hear more success from an offensive point of view and not defensive as always. How about reading a headline like, 'Nigerian military overrun terrorists camps' at least once a month |
While Nigerians are under intense hardship, the ever incompetent leaders are still talking about what happened in Rome. They had no business going there if they were serious. Only insecurity in Nigeria should be enough headaches for them not to be galavanting up and down. What nonsense |
Klington:It means OBJ was right all along that the refineries cannot work. Hmmm |
PressMyButton:Why are you being over ecstatic about a normal diplomatic letter? So what exactly has ECOWAS as a body done to improve life in member states? Start with Nigeria herself, what is the security situation here? What of economy? Militarily, we can't put bandits and kidnappers let alone terrorists to bed. So, why the unnecessary noise about ECOWAS? For now, it is a bigger failure than the AES, considering how long both have existed. |
Raregem9000:I was totally surprised with what I saw. It will seem the man wants to tar even footpaths in Ilaro. School built and some renovated. Empowerment for artisans. And he doesn't shy away from boldly indicating constituency allowance project on all the works. If all our politicians are doing this, our country will not be so backward. Imagine a Senator and a Rep member in undertaking such projects in a constituency. Infact, if the man eventually becomes a Governor, Ogun will be lucky finally |
Raregem9000:For example, that Senator Yayi(Solomon) representing Yelewa West or so, that Ilaro side in Ogun State. I was shocked the last time I went to that area. The man has completely changed the place. I began to wonder if it is the same senate that one man is representing my constituency. |
ChybuzzDD:I agree with you. The complications are just too much. These killings are beyond ordinary |
This people always invade army bases but our military hardly invade their camps or hide out. It looks as though the military is just camped in bases and are sitting docks for the terrorists to pick on. Why is the military not being offensive but rather more of defensive on the terrorists? There is just no clear strategy in fighting the terrorists and young people are just dying. Our military seems not to be intelligent based. Do they even have surveillance and attack drones in this age of technology? This is a case too many for a military force of Nigerian status |
stonebil:It is false indeed, a simple Google check of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University of Agric Makurdi shows 8048hectres and it is not on the list, while smaller land sizes are there |
lailo:I wonder why Tinubu's name came out of your mouth |
lailo:maybe you are right, even drug lords are some people's Messiah |
I am sure Tinubu will be checked by a Nigerian japa doctor on his next medical tourism trip to the foreign land |
