JJuanMiguel:So what will become of the public education if they all resign as you want them to? Even now the very people you are defending do not have confidence in the our education sector. This why their children keep graduating abroad with looted money. Same applies to our health sector and everything. 2 Likes |

gassbee:which demands have they met? You people will just be talking. How does promising to appreciate minies in 2023 budget translate to meeting demands when the useless government violates even signed agreements with reckless abandone let alone a mere promise. Let bring out part of the looted monies they are using to send their children abroad, attend to their health abroad and now scheduling meetings abroad to fund education 1 Like |

The more reason why I don't see any sense in the professor's ranting about the late queen. The very things our people do now is what is really worth talking about. How are the leaders of today running the affairs of the regions and the country? Very pathetic. But we will blame everyone else apart from us 6 Likes 2 Shares |

OgatheTop:You are just venting your anger and frustration wrongly. The man is PPRO as you called him. The matter involves a police officer and a civilian which is in public domain. What do you want him to do? Keep quiet? If he does, we will all insult them for keeping quiet, he speaks you are complaining. Thankfully, as he rightly says, the court will decide the matter, so calm down and don't be emotional about it. The woman will have her lawyer to argue her case 5 Likes |

shortIGBOman:I am just a patriotic citizen calling out the most corrupt bunch of thieves masquerading as leaders. May be you are a benefactor of the corrupt system that has taken our dear country to a new low. We will still be here when the clueless government will pay them their salaries. As it is with them, they are always confused in decision making. |
Education / Re: UNILAG Leads Mass Resignation Of Lecturers Over ASUU Strike by zikter(m): 12:34pm On Aug 31, 2022 |
JJuanMiguel:The way they are going about it is not wrong per se. Successive governments have dishonored so many agreements after ASUU calls off strikes. It is better they ensure something concrete comes out of this. It can be this government or next one. The way the goverment is going about this, there will be no affordable university for the poor majority again. The public universities will no longer exist or nothing to write home about. They are not just sincere. When local airlines threatened to down tools, they quickly found a solution because they cannot use the roads due to insecurity. International airlines are suspending flights and they quickly found a way to remit their dollars because they must travel abroad for medicals, vacation and their children will have to resume to school. The whole thing is just annoying. |

JJuanMiguel:Government has no option than to pay except if they want total collapse of the education system of the country. And I won't be surprised if it is what they are working towards considering how irresponsible the government is. Security is zero, heath is nothing, education almost collapsing, if not because of ASUU's resilience, our universities will just be like the public primary and secondary schools today. What exactly working? Nothing. This is all because of a failed government 1 Like |

shortIGBOman:I don't even do a government job. However, I am not a mediocre that will be supporting incompetence. If the government of the the countries the thieving government you so much love send their children to, behave like they do here, will they have sent them there? Again I don't expect you to understand this because human beings generally don't have same level of comprehending situations. I Pity the innocent students who are the children of the less privileged in the society. ASUU will still be paid for the months. The useless government is only grandstanding |
Education / Re: UNILAG Leads Mass Resignation Of Lecturers Over ASUU Strike by zikter(m): 8:08am On Aug 31, 2022 |
shortIGBOman:In your myopic thinking, this is an excellent solution. The bright and qualified persons you are proud of will stay with the poor service conditions right? The people leaving today were once bright and qualified. Someone sure made this kind of reckless statement before the people leaving today entered the system. It is fine, the so called qualified ones will fill the vacuum today but leave tomorrow and the cycle continues. While the thieves continue looting. The leadership is a reflection of the majority of the followers no doubt. 3 Likes |

Beat traffic light there and be ready to pay. Most of the recent traffic lights installed have cameras mounted on them. Once your plate number is picked, your phone number and house address are identified inthe vehicle registration data and you are easily contacted. guobe:ASUU did not keep them on the street, government did. Why are you confused? The reason why the private schools are ripping off parents as you put it is because the public schools are nothing to write home about. And the singular reason is government negligence to public education. the guy you quoted is 100% right. At this rate, in the shortest time, you will come back crying that private universities are ripping up parents. The government universities will become like public primary and secondary schools. 4 Likes |
