While Nigerians are under intense hardship, the ever incompetent leaders are still talking about what happened in Rome. They had no business going there if they were serious. Only insecurity in Nigeria should be enough headaches for them not to be galavanting up and down. What nonsense
PressMyButton: I thought the three desert countries had formed their separate union and wanted nothing to do with Nigeria and ECOWAS anymore, so why are they now crawling through the back door kneeling and groveling before the Jagaban?. Almost a year after forming their poor tiny union, no country has indicated interest. Why would any sensible country join them, what do they have to offer economically, financially, militarily, and otherwise?. Mr President has made it abundantly clear that ECOWAS under his leadership would never tolerate military regime. I guess it rang so loudly enough that Goita is considering transitioning into civilian Agbada as President. Some of the Juntas are already transitioning into civilian rule because of the fear of Jagaban.
See confession, Lol. Who is a dog before a Tiger. When you're big, you're big. Small cats will all come back running after you. Jagaban. Let them keep deceiving their gullible followers with media sensationalism while they crawling back to Jagaban.
After God, na Tinubu 💪 God bless Nigeria
Why are you being over ecstatic about a normal diplomatic letter? So what exactly has ECOWAS as a body done to improve life in member states? Start with Nigeria herself, what is the security situation here? What of economy? Militarily, we can't put bandits and kidnappers let alone terrorists to bed. So, why the unnecessary noise about ECOWAS? For now, it is a bigger failure than the AES, considering how long both have existed.
Raregem9000: The man dey try gan for his constituency and even other constituency too. He wanted to help us repair some roads in my constituency but they didn't allow him. They said he should face his constituency. The man never come out to say he won contest for governor but dem don dey fear already
I was totally surprised with what I saw. It will seem the man wants to tar even footpaths in Ilaro. School built and some renovated. Empowerment for artisans. And he doesn't shy away from boldly indicating constituency allowance project on all the works. If all our politicians are doing this, our country will not be so backward. Imagine a Senator and a Rep member in undertaking such projects in a constituency. Infact, if the man eventually becomes a Governor, Ogun will be lucky finally
Raregem9000: Only few of them are actually doing something in their constituency and even areas outside their constituency too.
For example, that Senator Yayi(Solomon) representing Yelewa West or so, that Ilaro side in Ogun State. I was shocked the last time I went to that area. The man has completely changed the place. I began to wonder if it is the same senate that one man is representing my constituency.
ChybuzzDD: There's a heavy ethnoreligious sentiments operating there The hausa/fulani millitary personnel, soldiers, leaders and politicians don't want their brothers to be killed for just engaging in jihad, an acceptable practice in islam.
I agree with you. The complications are just too much. These killings are beyond ordinary
This people always invade army bases but our military hardly invade their camps or hide out. It looks as though the military is just camped in bases and are sitting docks for the terrorists to pick on. Why is the military not being offensive but rather more of defensive on the terrorists? There is just no clear strategy in fighting the terrorists and young people are just dying. Our military seems not to be intelligent based. Do they even have surveillance and attack drones in this age of technology? This is a case too many for a military force of Nigerian status
Only Universities of Agriculture, was supposed to have large area space.
For Others 1,000hectre is ok
It is false indeed, a simple Google check of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University of Agric Makurdi shows 8048hectres and it is not on the list, while smaller land sizes are there
lailo: If u are referring to Tinubu, you are wrong bcs you are only accentuating hearsay. No court in Nigeria or anywhere abroad has ever convicted him of drug crime. So u cant refer to such person as drug Lord. There is no establishment. Same way Obi was accuse of Pandora gate and money laundry without conviction. Should we now tag him criminal bcs of mere allegation without conviction? Get sense
lailo: =Someone who couldn't account for #100million donated to his NGO. He said he was playing pranks with peoples money?. =Someone whose porn is on the internet and would go online to destroy other people like Nedu and co? =someone who is a gabriel and was proud to say it on air? =Someone a lot of people wrote petition against to the EFCC for financial impropriety? Is now the messiah of the headless mob
maybe you are right, even drug lords are some people's Messiah
We are in an age where naval warfare away from home is not a good war tactics anymore
Aircraft carriers are sitting ducks for missile attacks
The USA has so far lost 3 F-18 fighter jets in this war as of last night’s count. Each one costing 70m dollars They have lost about 9 MQ-Reaper drones costing 30m dollars each.
And US generals are complaining that the war was cost them too much, as they have to shoot down Yemeni missiles that only cost about 10k using missile defense that 2m dollars.
When the war with Iran finally comes, all US aircraft carriers will be sunk
Great analyst, and what will happen to Iran that doesn't even have air defence system? Remember, Israel took out all their air defenses the last time the Ayetollahs talked too much. Kindly help us analyze in that direction too
As he alluded in the interview, despite the more advantages that Saudi Arabia had using same US-made weapons for 7 years and close to the Houthis, Saudi Arabia failed. The Houthis are the Sparta of Middle East. They will lead the Arabs to chase out the state of Israel out of the middle East if diplomacy fails in ending the Gaza genocide.
Wao, it sounds funny as it is no longer Hezbollah that will chase Israel out of the middle east but the Houthis. How time flies, not long ago, this was the song about Hezbollah, today they are as good as forgotten.even by their supporters who have decamped to Houthi camp. What a pity.
Well, the houthis should do chasing fast, otherwise they are iincuring too much damage to their little facilities.
ARISHEM: I don’t know he sang any song at all. It was the fuss created as a result of public announcement of the ban by NBC that made me watch the song. It’s obvious it will be one of the most watched song in Youtube
Same with me here. I wasn't aware of such a song till the ban.
God1000: he never did any of that to Jonathan, I'm not aware of such.
And to be honest with you, Goodluck Jonathan didn't do well as president, I first voted for him in 2011 and later voted against him in 2015 due to high level of insecurity and the corruption under his watch, his inability to control the people he appointed, but if you compare his government to that of Buhari and the current one, he's better than them
Jonathan is a man with good heart, but he couldn't control the cabals and they ruined his government.
I agree with you on Jonathan. He was doing badly himself at the time. The unimaginable failures of APC after he was voted out is making him look like the best that happened to Nigeria.
Obama too should not be feeling like a saint. The whole insecurity in West Africa especially, is majorly his thoughtlessness decision to overthrow Gadaffi, which led to free flow of arms in the region. He isn't a saint either
What is this kind of misplaced priority. Our politicians like chasing shadows instead of the real substance. This is how they will end up spending billions on this useless recall while the people go hungry
Meteng: A little while ago she was blaming the same INEC on this same issue
Albeit correctly. How can you be chasing petitioners for their addresses, email and phone numbers. Are they mad not yo know they should include those? It should be a first point of outright dismisser of their kangaroo petition
Hemanwel: Many a times, when you hear news like this, a glimmer of hope is born; but, after a while when reality sets in, the hope becomes dashed.
Before Dangote refinery began operations, everyone thought there was light at the end of the tunnel with regard to our economy. Today, the refinery has begun full capacity operations, yet we are still where we were.
I pray things change though!
I agree with you completely. I am not moved in the slightest by this. We all heard how many billions in dollars of FX Dangote was going to save us from. But look at what is happening now, importation using the same FX Dangote was supposed to save us is used fully for importation of fuel that could be sourced locally by powers that be. There is nothing like 1+1=2 in Nigeria. Everything is twisted
Asonaijaaso: Everybody is an armchair analyst. You are telling them to just sit back and wait till its their turn to get killed ?
Well, I am not stopping them. If they feel is their right to attack who will destroy them, let them go ahead. What's their benefit in all of this? They have already lost more than what they are trying to achieve. Again, Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas were cheered on like this but you yourself know the position of things. I say again, let them continue
Asonaijaaso: If Israel finishes killing all the Palestine, what makes you think Yemen is not next on their agenda ? Maybe 10 years from now ? When your neighbors house is on fire, you better grab your buckets to help because if you mind your business, your house will be next. I hope you are intelligent enough to understand this ?
Well, is it ending well for them? I doubt. Their lord, Iran was wise to recoil after the last blow Israel gave them. If the Houthis think it is beneficial for them, let them continue, it is their concern as they will continue to lose the little that remains of their poor nation. Hezbollah used the same language of solidarity and we all know their position now. Far weaker and less of a threat than before. Even politically, they are being relegated to the back seat in Lebanon. Let all of them continue. The good thing is that, they have met a race that is as hardcore as they think they are themselves. I don't have any energy to cheer someone to their destruction
Asonaijaaso: They have been bombing them for 3 years and already begged for USA assistance......when are we going to see the destruction ? Nostrademus
Yemen is already the poorest country in the Arab world. Why can't the Houthis focus on how to better their people rather than looking for needles war that will further their poverty?
alcaptainero: Which road and bridges.. Fubara has not yet unveiled any project on his own as all the projects he commissioned are Wike's projects which he started..even the ring road that's under construction is Wike's brain child. This house of assembly complex has taken over 15 months after splashing over 19 billion into the building it's still at block and earth works levels showing slowed speed. And be reminded that it was Fubara's supporters that bombed the complex and he used caterpillars to bulldoze it down the next day out of fear of impeachment
Was Fubara meant to abandon ongoing projects under Wike or what are you insinuating? Is government not continual? What sort of reasoning is this?
Gboss247: Where you really expecting naira to appreciate when the CBN is pumping more nairas into circulation to provide liquidity for the new minimum wage?
The logic was based on cutting off the demand for dollars for fuel importation which gulps more than half of forex need. Dangote refinery was highly portrayed to cub our dollar need for importation, by government officials. While Dangote is saying he can meet local demands, importation with dollars we thought will stop is still going on.
Are you sure? This same song was sang a million times when he was about to refine fuel. How many forex have we saved? Naira to dollar is still very high. This is Nigeria where something as ideal as you said doesn't really work
Zionmdde: What dangote is doing Let's be watching While the masses are happy Some competitors who are supposed to checkmate monopoly and prevent the "cement" situation might be forced to close business with this price war.
In summary, this is dangote trying to monopolize the market. We are laughing now, but looking at how greedy dangote can be, it may spell disaster in the future
Iam not conversant with cement in Nigeria. However, I want to ask, is it only Dangote cement that is in the market in Nigeria? If there are other brands, what is their cost compared to Dangote?
