Frank Edwards has in an interview with Punch said he had no idea he would be so widely listened to.

He wanted to make music for people around him, he said. He wanted to do something he loved and if just one person said they were touched by it, then fine. He said:

I never planned for this; I had no idea it would be like this. Some things would happen to some people and they would say it was dream come true. In my own case, I didn’t even have any dream. I just wanted to make music for people around me to listen to. I just wanted to do what I loved and I was okay if it was just one person that would tell me my music touched his soul. God decided to bless me and take my music all over the world, I am grateful for it.
Discussing gospel music, Edwards said it’s better one goes into it with the intention to preach the gospel, and not to make money. He said:
If you are a gospel minister, you have to know you are in a ministry.
If you are in it for the money, you may be disappointed. It is not that you will not make money in the long run but that is not the focus, the focus is to preach the gospel of music through your music.
When your focus is to first do something that would sell, you would lose focus. If you want to do it for the business, then try secular music. You need to be called to be a gospel artiste because you would have to endure when the money is not coming and you have to wait on the Lord and learn to use your faith. You would even be popular and you would still be climbing bikes.

Small Doctor has in an interview with Punch revealed that he would like to get married soon.

Small Doctor, who was the best man at Oritsefemi‘s wedding, said he doesn’t think he has enough money to get married. He said:

I don’t think I have enough money to get married but it would come at the perfect time.
Definitely, I would love to get married soon and when it happens, it would be all over town that Small Doctor is getting married.
When it is time, the world would know. Anytime from now, the miracle would happen and I would get married

The singer also addressed rumors that he was once incarcerated.
He’s never been a prisoner, he said, and the rumors arose after him and a friend Lamboginny decided to perform in a prison. He said:

It is true that I was a bus conductor and a commercial motorcyclist. I also hawked sachet water but I thank God for the gift of life now because I am one of the most sought-after artistes at the moment.
I just feel that there is no limitation to what anybody can achieve in life. Those locked up in prisons are human beings too and that is not the end of their lives, so I decided to reach out to them. Also, my colleague, Lamboginny, reached out to me and said he wished we should go to the prison and perform for them, so I gladly agreed.
I have never been a prisoner and I laughed when I learnt that people thought I was once an inmate because of this gesture. I just feel we should always put a smile on the faces of other people regardless of any situation they are facing in life.

The report from the rumour mill has it that Small Doctor is an ex-convict. He however debunked this rumour in a recent interview with Saturday Beats and in the interview, he confirmed that he had been to the prison before but not as an inmate.

The ‘Penalty’ singer said, “It is true that I was a bus conductor and a commercial motorcyclist. She always tells me to make sure I don’t come to the house in the afternoon but at midnight. She is just a private person. However, I would have loved a little spotlight to shine on her because she has done so much and she is the best mom in the world,” he said.

Following the role he played as the bestman at Oritsefemi’s wedding, Small Doctor was asked if he plans to tie the knot soon. The singer replied;

All caught up in the “No Do” song by Kiss Daniel as I have been repeating the song since its release just as my parents have been repeatedly telling me to remember the home I came from.

The Song Awakens the ‘Fia‘ in me and made my fingers to “Manya” just Like Dat. I had to write out my Feelings.

Like I feel good vibing to the catchy instrumental by Philkeys and being attacked by Kiss Daniel’s with his catchy lyrics, my point here is that Kiss Daniels, you already woke up the trouble your self since you came out with this tune.

And I assure you, you will be behind bars for all this things you have done, LOL, Just kidding.

And yes, following the slave trade in Libia. I think they all need to listen to this song as it will really hit a spot in their life where they will definitely reason, little said is enough.

And I keep asking why didn’t Kiss Daniel drop this song earlier? I believe this song would have picked at least one MOBO Award for him and we all will be congratulating him. I know Kiss Daniel has his own planning, so am only stating my opinion.

And actually the “No go dey do pass your self” is something a lot of people can relate to and positively, it will motivate and give a lot of heart out there a very good and well behaved status in the remaining part of this year.

And that’s how that line has saved a soul from over thinking his/her life to pulp. O YEA, IT GAVE ME A GOOD IMPRESSION.

Dj put some high tempo on this and song is not just a club banger but the bomb.

Super Star Actress, Anita Joseph, who sat for an interview with The Entertainer, talked about acting nude, being fulfilled, becoming born again and her fake pregnancy that got her dragged by angry fans.

Here are excerpts from the interview;

I learnt that you have ‘repented’ and no longer flaunt your cleavages anyhow, how true is that?

I repented long time ago. I wear what’s proper now. I wear whatever suits me and makes me comfortable. You were mocked sometime ago for ‘claiming’ your friend’s pregnancy, how did that make you feel?

That wasn’t mockery; it was my pregnancy too. I was part of the plan for the scriptures to be fulfilled.

Do you in any way feel bad that you’re not a mother yet?

(Laughs) Feel bad about what?

How then do you handle critics around?

I handle critics well and I adjust. No time is late to learn.

Any plan to marry soon or join the trend of baby mamas?

I can decide not to answer you. But I choose to. Marriage comes when it comes. I’m not bothered about it. And if by any way he shoots and I get pregnant, it’s a big congratulation to both of us.

What’s your kind of man?

My kind of man must be spirit-filled. He must be a man that fears Jehovah God. There’s nothing more attractive to me than a man that loves God. He must make me laugh. He must possess a good sense of humour. He must also be a power dresser and smell good.

Can you marry an actor or a comedian?

Yes I can. I don’t like loud men. I don’t like a man that picks or blows his nose anyhow, especially in the public.

Is that man in your life right now?

Yes, of course. My favourite food is beans and afang soup. So, I’ll be indoors with my man. I don’t do cinemas. I have a good TV at home. I’ll buy popcorn and soft drinks; then put off the light. No cinema can give me that kind of pleasure.

What do you like most about your man?

He treats me like I am the only woman on earth, and he loves God.

Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State has inaugurated Kaduna Peace Commission, and saddled it with the responsibility of restoring peace in various communities.

El-rufai who swore-in Bishop Idowu Feron to serve as the chairman of the commission, which has a life span of 5 years, said Kaduna State is rejecting the legacy of crisis, which has marred the development of the state for some time.

He explained that the peace commission will assist to striven on those, who choose peace and harmony, and trusting in the laws to resolve conflicts and uphold right
He added that the government believes in common humanity and upholds the Citizenship of everyone who leaves in the state.

The Chairman of the commission, Bishop Idowu Feron said the committee will perform its official duty diligently and efficiently.

Kaduna State Government says it plans to spend N10 billion to provide potable water and sanitation in all its environs in 2018.

The Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Ministry of Water Resources, Mr Josiah Gajere made the disclosure while defending the ministry's budget before the state Assembly Committee on Water Resources.

He stated that the ministry would focus on the rehabilitation of water treatment plants to provide adequate water to the people.
The director stressed that provision of potable water to the citizenry was the responsibility of government and necessary in improving the living condition of people and curtailing water borne diseases.

Gajere told the committee that the perennial water scarcity in Zaria would soon be over when ongoing construction of reservoirs and pipelines network was completed by the end of March 2018.

He said that some of the projects being executed by the ministry were being funded by the Africa Development Bank and Islamic Development Bank.
Responding, chairman of the committee, Hashimu Anchau pledged to support the ministry to achieve its target.

He commended the ministry "for a job well done in 2017", adding that the officials must replicate the efforts in 2018 so as to end potable water supply problems in the state.

The producer has now explained why he gave the newly born baby the name, ‘Google’ – in a chat with Zionfelix.net, Dzogbetsi said that his son was also named after popular music and movie producer and business tycoon, Ahmed Banda.

Google Ahmed Banda was born on October 10, 2017. Explaining why the boy is called Google, Dzogbetsi said “he is going to be my researcher.
