Ejigbo. I'm from Ejigbo
U mentioned d guy (Aregbesola) is not doing anything in Osun for the past 3 years right? Are u telling me that apart from the road dat leads to d speaker's house that was awarded after lossing Ekiti election (according to u) Aregbesola didn't do any other road project in Ejigbo?
Politics / Re: Osun State Elections 2014:the Games For A Throne by Zionope: 9:56pm On Jul 30, 2014
elfaez: But really, what has Aregbesola done in all his 3+ years in office other than remodeling the state's appearance, make the state richer in debts, and cover the state in posters? Yea sure he created more employment opportunities by creating corps like the O'yes, O'reap etc. But, what's really in it for people? I mean, if we get more people working, and workers not getting payed, you just get more empty pockets, less money in circulation , and more people screaming down the government's throat! And with this sudden increase in taxation (Or taxation plans) and taxing avenues..
And then, what will Omisore do but reverse Aregbesola's reforms, and resume the norms of PDP rule, viz:less development and corruption?
I've read tru ur post, all of them. U know what I see? I saw someone backing somebody's claim that Aregbesola have not complete any road project in Osun, dat all his roads were completed on media. But I have a question for u, cos I reside in Osun too, my question: Talking about making the state richer in debt, how much debt has he incured?

The man Omisore is a semi-illiterate. But have you listened to Aregbesola? I have and he is the epitome of deep illiteracy. Patience Jonathan can be considered super intelligent where those two are.
Quote me anywhere, Aregbesola speaks better english than mr president(Jonathan) himself. If u have heard him speak(English) before, u wount compare him with Omisore or even 'u' urself. Am sure u can't defeat Aregbesola in an English debate. Why do u think Omisore refuse to debate wit him?

My guy,

I would have wished to support another candidate rather than Omisore, but you well know that the race is between APC & PDP.
APC cannot continue to fool us in South West presenting themselves as angels of light, coming in sheep clothing but indeed they are wolves.
Let's leave political parties aside now, let's talk about the candidate. Which of dis two candidates do u think is the best for our state?

Don't know why some pple on dis forum finds it difficult to read and understand, Aregbesola have just cleard d hear concerning ur accusations and also sent an open challenge to any interested fellow to come wit papers(proof) that ur claims really existed. I listened to d programme myself, he said all d funds(loan,FG allocation, grants, etc) received by his administration till date stands at 320billion naira, but u made us believe he has incured over 350billion naira loan. Now d OP is bringing points from d interview but all u can say is that he must go, rather than staying focus on the points, delebrate on it and allow d readers to judge. If this is how shallow our thinking is as YOUTH of dis nation, then I pity d future of this country NIGERIA.

If you check me out, my grouse is liberation of SW from Tinubu pockets.

How long shall we continue and allowing our future heritage to be amasse by the greedy & selfish element.

The few projects done by Raufu is at what cost to Osun and what is the current gearing ratio of Osun state

I will continue to fight against Tinubu, his propaganda, his selfish and wicked ideology until he change or reduced by influence.

My campaign here on Nairaland is a drop in the ocean of my physical campaign and mobilization in my constituency.

Except a last minutes change of strategy APC shall have a running battle retaining all current SW state.

Welcome back to Egbeda, Lagos State.
If truly ur intention is to librate d SW, then u wount support Omisore's candidacy. Its either u have something personal to gain if omisore wins dis election or u're just doing what u're paid to do.

Politics / Re: Osun 2014: Opon Imo Has 17 Subjects With 84.7% Errors-Omisore by Zionope: 9:54am On Jul 21, 2014
Interviewer: So what fresh ideas do you have in mind?

Omisore: That’s just part of the make-believe of his administration and perception of those outside the state. These awards were bought.
The truth is that the so-called O’Yes participants have not been paid for the past eight months; in that regard he has failed.
Opon Imo has been withdrawn. I join other well-meaning people to demand for its withdrawal all over the state because Opon Imo has 17 subjects and 87.7 errors, that’s the reality. On Opon Imo, the governor spent N8.4bn. He gave the contract to one of his sons. Doing this is not the problem, but the reality is that a dangerous work, capable of destroying our students, was done. It has 17 subjects, and 84.7 per cent errors. For example, in mathematics, algebra to be specific, there is no single graph inside Opon Imo, no single diagram and so on. I am a mathematician, you cannot teach mathematics without illustrating figures. It’s not possible. No single table, when you go to physics, same story. and in chemistry nothing. The idea was driven by profit, Opon Imo, in chapter 4 (history), says history of the Songai Empire, what you will read in the body is the history of Mali. That’s the character of Opon Imo, I have written to the British government, that they should withdraw the recognition of Opon Imo: I have gone to the UNESCO. It’s an embarrassment. They’re being withdrawn from schools now. In O’Yes, he’s owing them salary.
You don’t know government by slogans, it’s not by sloganeering. But the reality is that, at times, one cannot really run away from the reality of the level of the governor’s education.
A good and effective governor must focus on developmental issues. You must be driven by developmental issues, developing human capacity, the people’s capacity and not by misapplying people’s money. Can you image a governor sewing school uniform for N14bn, depriving the small traders, the clothes sellers on the street, depriving tailors on the streets? He’s taken food from one million osun indigenous, men and women. These are people who voted for him. All because you wanted to siphon money. All these things have made him to fail. He came to Lagos Airport Hotel to showcase osun Airport, spending about N4bn, but nothing on the ground to show for it.

yazach: My neighbor went to Osun State INEC office yesterday (4th of July, 2014) to claim her permanent voter’s card but to her surprise, she was told that she has collected the card. So she requested for signatory document showing her signature but she was again surprised to found only a fingerprint without signature.
Noticing that she has the temporary voter’s card with her, one official shout out to bring the temporary one and keep it somewhere but thank God the women was not as that easy and she reclaimed it back.
The woman then proceeds to a politician to report the scenario, so they both proceed to INEC office.
Surprisingly, some people were at INEC office to claim the permanent voter’s card but THEY CAN ONLY FOUND OUT THAT THEIR NAME HAS BEEN CLASSIFIED AS DEAD PEOPLE
Fellow Nigerians where are we going in this country?
That is part of the plan, its happenining everywhere in the state, since PVC is equal to N10,000 + a mini bag of rice:courtesy of the PDP. I pity d poor guy, PDP has concluded the plan to send him packing, and d guy don try 4 Osun no be small.

DebateNigeria: There is no guarantee that the election will be peaceful without the military. We need strong evidence that military was used to rig elections before we can stop military presence in elections. Edo, Anambra, Ondo and Ekiti all had military presence (reason why there were no post election violence).
If the heavy presence of armed personell will make our election free and fair, then how do we expect to achive a free and fair exercise during d general election? I'll assume u know how many were deployed to ekiti, now multiply that by 37. And talking about FREE and FAIR, though I'll agree with u the election was violent FREE, but can u tell me what is FAIR in arresting some big names from a particular political party a day b4 election why other political parties were left on touched? And even on the election day, according to what pple posted here on nairaland; d 3 big parties in the game were sharing money, but those arrested for such practice are of a particular political party, do u think dat is FAIR? Blaqchild4eva: There Is A Very Thin Line Between Fayose And Fayemi But That Ain't Why I Am Writing This Piece. We All Believed And See United States Of America As The Numero Uno Of Democracy. There Is Democrats And The Republican.
Lets Take The Case Of Hilary Clinton For Instance,She Is The Next Presidential Candidate For The Democrats And We All See It As A Good Move Cos She Is A Woman And It Was Applauded Globally. Not Forgetting That Her Husband,Bill Clinton Has Held The Post Before But If It Were To Be Here In Nigeria,We Will Start Calling Names Like Tinubu, supporters of APC, Association Of Past Criminals e.t.c. Cos His Wife Is A Senate Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria And Son-In-Law,A Member Of The House Of Representatives.
Our Former President Of Blessed Memory,Musa Yar'Adua Was Elected On The Platform Of PDP And We All See What He Did Before Death Painfully Took Him Away.
Are We Going To Say All The Opposition Governors Facing Impeachments Notice Is A Mere Coincidence? Literally Meaning All The PDP Governors Are Saints... What About The Mass Defection Of Lawmakers? Even In A State Where The Governor Is Performing Creditably Well,There Is Still Room For Defection.
We Did Not Experience Any Of These During Yar'Adua's Administration And Not Forgetting He Was A Northerner We Are All Tainting To Be Evil Now.
Lets Try And Distinguish Right From Wrong Cos Nigeria Belongs To All Of Us. I Do Not See Why Jonathan Deserved To Be Re-Elected Again. What About The Level Of Corruptions Attained In His Regime? The Highest So Far In The History Of Nigeria As A Nation And Yet No One Among The Culprits Is Facing Tribunal Or In Jail.... Also Not Forgetting The Case Of Alameseigha And Bode George.
Yet He Is The Best We Can Offer To Turn The Fortunes Of This Great Nation Around. There Was A Country Indeed According To Late Prof. Chinua Achebe Of Blessed Memory.
Guy no disturb urself, the pple here wount reason wit u cos majority of them do not have d love of the country at heart; they are either from d south, east, PDP or APC card carrying member. Those frm south and east want them pikin to rule, those from PDP want their party to remain in power, while those from APC will respond wit sentiment. The Nation's future get K-leg.
