Bros don't get so worked up.

The DG DMO didn't give any figure. He only said Osun debt profile is sustainable. And less than 40% of GDP is what is regarded as sustainable.

According to reports, Osun GDP is in the region of 7 billion dollars. So meaning anything below 2.8 billion dollars (420 billion naira) is considered sustainable.

All I'm asking for is a figure.

You get?

If you're satisfied with the commissioner of finance's figure, the next guy can be satisfied with Former head of service's figure. And you can't say he's wrong.

We need facts
Pls answer dis question, which authority do u think is in the right place to declare a state's debt profile?

That is because they are 2 different entity, and beside, d qualification requirement from inec is minimum of school cert, the rest nah wash. Simplicity can not be bought, even with PHD.

I mean official figures from DMO not commissioner of finance figures.

Commissioner's figure is as good as former chief of staff's figure.
You are suprised d guy no owe 350/400billion as u claimed; abi? U no trust d commissioner's figure, u hate to hear the DMO's declaration; simply because of sentiment, probably u should wait for the DMO's publication or go and audit the state treasury urself so that u'll come and tell us the truth, i am eager to know the truth myself; but for now, am satisfied with the finance commissioner's figure.

Hahahahahahah, APC members are truly mad and foolish, how could they blame anybody of being responsible for a collapse building? what is really wrong with these criminals? Are the PDP members the contractors or the suppliers of the materials used in constructing the house? Nawaooo. APC should stop chasing shadows cos they can no longer deceive Nigerians. What a devilish and foolish allegation! These people have no direction at all.

Only a blind man will not see that the building by mere looking is of substandard
U're biased in ur judgement, the state government have not accused anybody yet, experts are still looking for d cause, and what would u have done urself if u are to act on the report that says there was a bang before d collapse of the building?

The collapse of this building is a big blow on his re-election. Parents would warn their children against using any structure erected by Aregbesola.
So you surgest we should use a particular building 4 ever? Or u're suggesting we should wait for the old ones to tear apart b4 building other ones? Don't u know buildings have expiry dates too? Let's embrace change and correct mistakes, not condmn every innovation.

oapbrown:

Well, I also make bold to say, Aregbe developed ALMOST every nook and cranny in Osun State. I have relatives who live so close in a prominent estate, to the government house (annex) in Osogbo, d road leading to their estate (Oroki/Temidire Estate) has been so bad since its existence. A PDP elected Senator, PDP state chairman, and so many PDP officials live in that Estate, they did nothing to that road. When the Senator was approached concerning the poor road and the poor transformer, he told the landlords 'Well, as yu can see, I don't stay long here, so I don't have any problem with the road, and I mostly use generator whenever am around, so yu people shud write the government, they will help you'. As close as that road is to the Govt Annexe, it wasn't done thruout PDP's regime. When Aregbe came, he didn't only tar the road, he turned a seemingly small road to a bigger/dual lane road on both sides. Anybody can check, I still drove on that road early dis year - Oroki Estate to Capital Hotel link road. Come to think of it, you're all shouting APC is bad, why did Oyinlola rig the last election? He simply knew he didn't perform well and so pple wanted a change, hence dey voted Aregbe. They tot they had finished Aregbe wif d rigging but as a reasonable and sensible politician, he made sure he had evidences of all d riggings and dat was what made him win later in court. Oyinlola and Omisore committed a lotta atrocities both in Ife and Ilesa, sponsoring their thugs to kill innocent people, well I need not say much.

Fine, Omi has a better CV, but he didn't prove beyond his CV in his 8yrs as a senator that he can perform better as a governor! Osun State needs to look like a real State that it's looking now!
Better CV my foot

Also, when the NSE was celebrating its Golden Jubilee in 2008, he was honoured with the Prime Award for Remarkable Contribution to the Growth of Engineering Profession and Society.

Project Management

On the consultancy side he was involved in the execution of several World Bank assisted projects and ADB/ADF assisted projects in virtually every part of Nigeria. Chisore Engineering Ltd was also involved in the Execution of many projects for Blue Chip Companies, Banks, Embassies, Shipping Companies; just to mention but a few. He was very successful in his professional endeavour, he diversified and today has interest in several areas of the Economy. He was in the process of taking Chrisore Engineering to be listed on the stock Exchange before the duties of elective political office beckoned on him. Omisore went ahead to establish Chrisore Engineering Plc in 1989 as well as Mechelec Consultants Ltd. Between the time of its establishment and 1999, Chrisore Engineering of which he was the Chairman and CEO had executed many projects.

These include the UACN Commercial Complex, Apapa; the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor’s residence including the residences of its 5 Deputies; Afribank Headquarters; Eko International Bank Headquarters; UACN Abuja Complex in addition to the Union Bank of Nigeria Headquarters.
