He can, in the dream world.lol

Rochas is more popular even as an ordinary citizen than 10 Fasola's put together. Except you live in denial, his impact is there for all to see.

Please - GEJ does not have the authority to appoint a CBN Governor nor can he sack him.

On Paper GEJ is the most powerful man in Nigeria as president (Just like Obama, Cameron, Medvedev)

In reality there are people more powerful than them that pull the strings.
So who appoints a CBN gov? Who appointed Sanusi? Who appointed Soludo?

The fact he did not discriminate in his deportation policy says a lot !  Does it not?

If you are looking for a non-discriminating candidate will Fasola not be a choice?
HAusa voters dont care if he did not discriminate. The fact that he removed them en mass from where they earn their daily bread knocks him out in their eyes. Plus, Igbos will not vote for a swner at this point after ObJ. Plus ACN is a joker not taking seriously outside its enclave. They abandoned Ribadu and he will get back at them when the time comes. Fasola is in a pit if he decides to run.

I present to you th next CBN governor
He is SSner and former MD of one of the well-managed banks in Nigeria
I just suddenly forgot his name. Will post it when I remember.

Dont mind the 'Dreamers'

Yesterday it was 'Bakare' they were shouting from the roof tops - And what happened?

Fashola will never be president of Nigeria.
Dreams are free of cost. So people can afford to dream as much as they want. Who the frigging hell is Fasola?
Okorocha has more appeal-he appeals to the North, East SS and parts of SW. He has free schools all over the country. But even that is not enough.

<Quote> Fashola, Ngozi, Rochas, El-Rufai and Sanusi </quote>

Fashola - broad appeal, successful execution of office duties, role nodel for aspiring governors, fiscal responsibility, high scorecard results, open partnership for foreign investment and growth consolidation under a 100yr plan to transform the environment and economy of Lagos. Let me stop at this point for now.

Now, compare the other potential candidates on this hopeful list and match or beat Fashola results.

Remember I Did not include his academics, professional or even awards. Just the publicly acclaimed results alone.
Fasola broad appeal amongst whom?
The same Fasola who deported northerners?
Igbos want it too in 2015
The North wants it too
GEJ is likely to be tempted to want to continue
Fasola is of ACN, with no national spread.
He has to be a magician to convince Igbos to vote for him after Obj was there 8 years.
Even Tinubu will work against fasola for a presidency. Take that to the bank.

let's assume you are right for a moment. SW vote for fashola ACN, SE vote for Rochas APGA and North vote for Sanusi PDP. Who do you think will win?

BTW, Dont get me wrong, I am not a fan of Sanusi, I am only being realistic with the way Nigerian electorate vote.

If the North should choose a consensus candidate in 2015 for PDP, they will most likely pick Sanusi ahead of Sambo.
Nobody wins because you need a certain percentage from every state to win. Igbos are spread all over Nigeria more than others and can influence the numbers in some places like Lagos, Kano, Jos and PH

They will (N, SW and SE) all have to sit down and negotiate again. One good thing that GEJ's coming brought into our consciousness: more political awareness.

He's executing the 'Agenda' of his masters well.

I dont see why he will not serve a second term if he wants to.

In terms of 'Power' the position of presidency is a step down for him.

And let it be known now - GEJ is not the most powerful man in Nigeria.
If GEJ wants him to be reappointed, he will be reappointed. Otherwise he goes.
Do we know why GEJ is not even commenting on the sharia bank saga? Probably giving Sanusi a long rope to hang himself
I wager that GEJ is waiting for Sanusi's tenure to end before shoving him aside. I dey siddon look, lol

About the most powerful man in Nigeria mantra, no single person can lay claim to that as of today.

As for Sanusi being a sellable candidate for 2015, all I can say is that for now I have my spotlight on : Fashola, Ngozi, Rochas, El-Rufai and Sanusi
This 5 seem the most probable to hijack Nigeria from the satanic cartels.
However, as the years roll bye, we will get a clearer look by their fruits we shall know them!
Who will vote for Fasola? May be SW votes can take him to Aso Rock?lol
The SW has had their turn for 8 years. They should go to sleep for now.

IT BAFFLES ME MORE HOW SEUN MANAGES TO GET THE LIKES OF JARUS, AISHA2, OAM4J ETC WHO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX AND LATER BEGINS TO FIGHT THEM DIRTY WHEN THE ELECTORAL HEAT IS ON SIMPLY FOR OPENLY GOING AGAINST HIS OPINIONS.
I am shocked too, beyond imagination. Sanusi ko, sharia ni.

So what's your point? GEJ can sack any minister with a telephone call from his toilet. You can't compare a minister to the CBN governor.
No one is sacking anyone (and I have not written that anywhere in my post), but someone stands not being reappointed. He has already gone far in his tenure. I wonder how many months left for him. lol

I know nothing is sure/certain in politics. 2015 is still a long time.

But i will be surprised to see GEJ reelected in 2015 instead of a Northerner. I have little hope in the ability of Nigeria electorate voting right.
Wait for the shocker. Sanusi is nowhere near aso rock in 2015. He has everyone, including northern Christians (and those ones have learned quite some lessons from their muslims brothers) to contend with. Buhari's case is still fresh with us, yes?
PoliticsRe: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 9:16pm On Jul 05, 2011

Sanusi of course. Do you know of any CBN governor that was sacked?
Sacked may be no, not reappointed, as easy as akara. Go ask Soludo.
PoliticsRe: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 9:15pm On Jul 05, 2011
OAM4J:
I actually doubt he will be interested in being reappointed. I only know he will finish this term.

The North see him as one of the Presidential hopeful for 2015. Dont forget GEJ already gave them his word for a single term.
2015 Will not be  a cake walk for anyone, let alone for Sanusi, with his sharia banking blah!! blah!! blah!!. Take that to the Bank.
GEJ gave Nigeria his word, not the North. He also discussed with the SE which is also in contention.

I put it to anyone that in 2015, GEJ is not handing over to anyone and heaven will not fall. GEJ is doing a second term.

Both sir.

You cannot remove the CBN Governor the same way you remove a minister.

And Sanusi no be small meat o. You prolly need to find out how the North regards him.
His tenure ends when and will GEJ reappoint him?
The North may regard him all they like, they will not force GEJ to reappoint him just like no one forced Yaradua to reappoint Soludo
Mind you, the North is not interested in Sanusi as a person, they are interested more in the position of CBN. Move Sanusi to the dustbin of history and put another northerner there that is of GEJ's choosing and who will do his bidding. Shikena.

Sun of god:
At least somebody seems to understand the game.

GEJ can sack the finance minister without hesistation but cannot touch the CBN governor.

And yet ignorant Nigerians think the CBN is just a 'wing' of the govt - One day it will dawn on them the true nature of the CBN.

If Okonjo Iweala doesn't toe the line, it will be Sanusi who puts an end to her tenure.
So what is powerful and untouchable here: Sanusi or the CBN? How long is his constitutionally allowed tenure? Will GEJ reappoint him when the first term is done. We all will see who holds the ace in the end. I dey laugh oh!!!

You need to be able to manage yourself first before dreaming (yes, dreaming) to manage others. Your small god, the jail-bound Tinubu is incapable of managing his wife, let alone the great Alaigbo harbouring the greatest Nigerians on planet earth. How can you even dream of managing what is greater than you and yours 100000000x?

It is one of those nondescript, fake, 419 socio-political groups that SWners form - similar to NADECO- when things go against them, only to jump ship when they seem to get or be getting what they want.

I am his donkey
He leads me in the ears oh

What has he shown? Ngige that is always blowing dust? Without ACN, Ngige would have been replaced by Dora. ROTFL!! If Ngige does not behave, we'll replace him come 2015 wink

LP chairman is an Igbo man, but it seems like most of them LP developments and actions are only being demonstrated in Ondo. Nobody is stopping him from being a chairman as long as Mimiko continues his good work in Ondo or else ACN will chop that state up. Without Mimiko, who even knows LP exists?

ACN's mission: Kwara, 3 SE states, and maybe more.
Clap for yourself. Remove Ngige and replace him with Biodun.
In 2015 all ACN members will become PDP again like they all moved from AD to PDP in 2003. Na today crayfish bend yansh? Fair weather politicians
Tinubu is 2 steps away from jail, remember? Who will lead you in the ears again like a donkey?
PoliticsRe: PDP Please Leave Imo Governor Alone by ZnO: 8:28pm On Jul 05, 2011
Ileke-IdI:
Your imagination is your personal problem.

With LP and ACN, the SW is eating the cake they baked; loosen the power notch of PDP. Obviously, PDP having won large majority of the SE states still believes Imo belongs to them. With the way ACN is eating up state, it will inevitable have your cake and eat it too. Our mission in 2015 is atleast 3 SE states.
I hope you know that Ngige (ACN Anambra) is already showing Tinubu that he, like other Igbos are not donkeys. If you want your ACN to implode on your fat face, bring it to the SE.

LP Chairman is an Igbo man, so we run things in Ondo, sorry.

The SE will eat their cakes in both PDP and APGA. We are not donkeys led in the ears like the SW

you haven't answered my question. I'm stating that there's a huge problem with the leadership pipeline.  If Iwenala was to die today,  are you saying that Nigeria cannot progress because there is no one that has international clout ?  shocked shocked
Well she is not dying now, hopefully. So let's optimize/maximize her being alive and willing to serve to get to where she can take us to.
Hopefully, they will put Adesida in the Agric. ministry so he can bring his international agricultural clout from AGRA and Rockefeller foundation.
The local champions have been tried and tested and they have failed woefully.

Don't misconstrue my statement. I mean is she the only person that can do the job ? Aren't there other people on the list with more accomplishments --- doesn't have to be a woman.
Okay name any one else, male of female. We have tried Aganga and he did not deliver. Ngozi delivered a few things in her first outing.
You can say Utomi, may be, who knows, he can be better than Ngozi. But he was also at VON. How did he deliver there?

Mind you, its not just about finance and economy, it is also about the international clout she can bring that Nigeria needs at this point in time. I do not see any other Nigerian as internationally positioned as her as of TODAY.
