Please guys, my visa gold card (USD dominated) is not going through for visa fee payment. What could be the issue? Any other method?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by ZOE07: 10:27am On Jul 19, 2023
Please, how do one answer "How much money are you personally planning to spend on your visit to the UK?" if I am going as part of my family and someone is taking full responsibility to pay all bills
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by ZOE07: 9:20pm On Jul 10, 2023
Thank you very much for this. I do appreciate. Did you do for standard visit visa also?

Blessedsteph:
Used KMP in May. You must submit your passport for scanning on the day of biometrics but they will hand it back to you immediately. Once your visa is ready you will get a call to resubmit it to the tls office. You have 28days to do this. Once submitted, it shouldn’t take more than 48hrs to receive collection mail. Mine came in less than 24hrs though. Abuja tls.
All the best.

Thanks a bunch. Can I delay in submitting my passport after a decision has been made? How much time do I have to submit it?
Opeyemi007:
You'd only submit your passport after a decision has been made on your application. Turnaround time is most times 2-3 working days.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by ZOE07: 2:52pm On Jul 10, 2023
Has anybody tried the "keep my passport" option before? Please I will require more clarification / answers on the subject.

I do not need to submit the passport when I do biometrics?
Once I am informed of decision, what is the timeline to submit passport?
Also what is the timeline to collect passport back after submission?

many thanks for your help / assistance on this. @justwise and everyone.

Please, Any update on this? Thanks.
bimbotek:
Hello house,
Thanks for the good job you guys are doing here.
About a week ago, I got a mail from Sheffield that my application is not straightforward. Today, I got a mail that a decision has been made regarding my visa application and.it shud be ready for collection in 3-5 days.
Now my question is, what does it mean when they say an application is not straightforward? I read sometimes ago here when a lady had a lengthy ban after she got a mail that her application was not straight forward.

This is where my main question is. I have not made payment as suggested on the UKVI website. How do I book?

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ZOE07: 8:10am On Jul 25, 2016
Kindly help provide answer to this. I have asked earlier. What do you present as travel document since you are advised not to pay for travel? Also, can you reschedule submitting your application to a later date after booking an appointment with the visa centre. Thanks a bunch.

If one applies for a priority visa (Visit) in Ikeja, how long does it take to to get an appointment booked (for document submission) and the overall time taken to get the visa? Thanks in anticipation.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ZOE07: 3:31pm On Jun 16, 2016
Thanks a bunch.

justwise:

Technically date of biometric because it's part of application process and your application can not be processed without that.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ZOE07: 2:29pm On Jun 16, 2016
Please, is the visa processing time guidelines on the website of UKVI starting from the date of online application or the date of biometrics or the date it was received by UKVI? Thanks
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ZOE07: 10:27am On May 27, 2016

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ZOE07: 10:16am On May 27, 2016

justwise:

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ZOE07: 10:12am On May 27, 2016
What problem? Still don't understand you please. I just created a new application with the same email and account I used for the first.

New platform as in?

dave07:
Oga justwise angry angry angry, imperialebony thanks for letting it go.
@zoe07 maybe you should start a new application and let it be on the new platform if you are applying from naija. The short term student visa has been merged with others to become the standard visitor visa and you will get that on the new visa application platform
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ZOE07: 8:28am On May 27, 2016
Yes, I did that. Thanks. My fear earlier was using the same account to apply but someone told me it wasn't a big deal that I could have as many applications for one account.
justwise:

Have you tried starting a new application?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ZOE07: 9:12am On May 26, 2016
Hello people, good morning. I was trying to apply for a short term study visa (6 months or less). I started out the application, confirmed, booked appointment and brought me to make a payment for IHS. After inquiry from others, I was told I am not meant to pay for IHS as I have selected the wrong visa type while applying. Every time I log in back to my account, it takes me back to the IHS payment page and there is no button to cancel my application. Please what do i do?
