Odingo1: I need an opinion, I live in 1 bedroom room flat, room and parlour with dining of 800k per year, the landlord recently increased it to 1m but my wife insisted that we move to another room and parlour that is smaller and far from town only that the house have POP design at 1.6 million. I told her that the place we are staying is better and we can save 600k then unprovoked she said she have finished making arrangements with the other house that I must pay the money that day. To my greatest surprise she started physically pushing me around, bring out our wedding pictures and throw on it the bed and went to kitchen looking for kitchen knife. And bring out all my bag and ask me leave the house or she will smash all my belongings including labtops and phone. Is a shock to me, yet to recover. Note I am a sole provider in the union, she contribute nothing, I gave her monthly upkeep of 120k, I take care of every Damm expenses in the house. I started a lab business for her with 3 m. The marriage is about 10 months, no kid yet. We have not have major issues except minor issues which we resolve. I haven’t involved families yet, I want see opinions first, mod pls front page. Well if your story is true, I will advice you use your common sense and take the right decision. But from experience, once your spouse start using weapon or threatening you with one, it's doesn't stop and the result is catastrophic. |

Botragelad: This is exactly the Kamala Harris that folks figure is gonna run the whole United States. She's got her eyes wide open to the fact that Nicolás Maduro is or used to be a brutal, illegal dictator who stole his way into power, but she's cool with him squatting there, not lifting a finger to shut him down. Lol
Most of these liberal leaders are cowards always yapping their mouths off with blah blah, promises, etc, but when it comes to backing it up with actual moves, nada Your real power shows up in what you do, not what you rant about. You sound confused and am not surprised because I have read some of your gibberish in the past and it's nauseating. How is attacking a sovereign state for it's oil ever cool and legal?. Maduro might be illegal dictator, but so are many leadership in many countries especially in Africa but weren't prey on because why, "THEY HAVE NO OIL". Trump is egomaniac, self absorbing human being who believes he can take what he wants by bullying others. His singular action has created a precedent that will hunt countries years to come. |

Ezeama400: The issue is that Tinubu is not in touch with the reality. Yesterday, he was busy tagging Trump on twitter during his Christmas msg just to prove a point, only to wake up with sad news this morning.. He’s not aware of Donlad Trump’s plans..
The “joint operation” statement is just to save a face, which everyone would do to cover his or her shame You guys for once make use of your senses. DomPerignon: Claims he wants to return to being a reality TV star and concentrate on being a master of ceremonies.
BS!
I predicted here that when the Epstein files drop, it will be so damaging and embarrassing to Zion Don that he will have no choice but to pardon himself and resign.
Despite , Trump's DoJ doing everything to redact every document, photograph and video of Trump and his pedo buddies and also dumping the released files without a catalogue or search feature (the DoJ dumped all the files as one large downloadable file), sleuths have been peering into the files and have seen highly compromising docs linking Trump to raping young girls on Epstein Island.
But this is not really why Trump is being forced by his Zionist handlers to resign.
They will sacrifice Trump resigning so as to placate the Democrats and end further inquiry into the links of Epstein running a honey pot blackmail operation on behalf of Mossad targetting powerful US elite and politicians.
Zion Don will resign before the summer of 2026.
You heard it here first. Sincerely you sound ridiculous. Am never a Trump fan and will never be, but thinking he will be magnanimous enough to resign is asking too much. |

Politics › Re: What God Told Me About The Price War Between Dangote And Ahmed Farouk by zoghys: 8:12am On Dec 17, 2025 |
miracle002: Initially when the allegation of Dangote against NMPDRA boss Ahmed Farouk came up and also against his children schooling abroad I was happy with how Dangote is exposing this people living lavishly.
What excited me the most was when Dangote slashed the price of petrol to 699 naira but was angry that Ahmed Farouk approved the importation of billions of litres of petrol for Q1 of 2026.
I was also happy when Dangote started fighting against the importation of Petrol claiming that the petrol imported is killing local production and that he is slashing his own petrol price for the good and betterment of Nigerians.
I also saw how nairalanders were supporting him with their comments. I was also liking their comments indirectly supporting how Dangote is fighting for the good of the masses
But at a point, I began to suspect that something is not right. I began to suspect that I was missing something. I began to suspect the desperation with Which Dangote was going with this fight. I suspected that something was amiss but I could not put them together. I decided I will ask God about it during my midnight prayer.
As I was praying in the midnight, I asked God to tell me if Dangote was really fighting for the good of Nigerians.
God spoke immediately. He said that Nigerians should not be carried away with the sudden 'care' and 'concern' Dangote is showing to them. He said that he is not fighting for the interest of Nigerians but for his own selfish gain. He wants to monopolise the petroleum industry the same way he had Monopoly in cement and other commodities.
He said that Dangote does not want competition, he wants to be in total control and monopoly of the petroleum industry.
He said that Dangote wants to kill importation by all means because he wants to be the only one that produces and sells it
He also said that the price reduction in his petrol is temporary and once he achieves his selfish aim, Nigerians will see his true color.
He then used cement as a case study. He has monopoly over cement production yet cement is expensive.
He then said that Dangote is one of the cabals that put Nigeria in this condition we are into.
He then said that we Nigerians have short memory, look at how everybody is praising him because of his supposed fight against importation, high rate of petrol and fighting for the masses.
He then said that Dangote refinery is a private refinary. What is his business with Petrol importation, how is that his headache.
He is even a private citizen and not in power, how will he be preventing people that import petrol from doing their legitimate business.
He even mocked Dangote, someone of his caliber, Africa richest man of stooping so low to fight with NMPDRA boss Farouk, even to the extent of investigating his children education abroad and even petitioning him to ICPC on allegations of corruption and living above his means.
He is doing all these to bring Farouk down and at the end achieve the monopoly of the petroleum industry.
But God said he will fail in his inordinate ambition. He said that as long as He is God, he will never achieve that monopoly. He then said that petrol importation will continue and he cannot stop it
He also said that the corruption case he has instituted against Farouk will not see the light of the day.
Nigerians be warned, don't be deceived by his supposed 'Fight' against importation and sudden love for the masses.
This is thus saith the Lord.

Politics › Re: RE: Aliko Dangote Versus Farouk Ahmed....they both got Emefiele dollars by zoghys: 12:18pm On Dec 16, 2025 |
malali: I have seen the damning allegations made by Aliko Dangote accusing Farouk Ahmed CEO NMDPRA of being corrupt as a public civil servant. Documenting his exorbitant schools fees in Switzerland boarding schools. First of all, I do not know any of them. I am just making comments based off what has been published.
First of all this is the annual cost of each school • Montreux School (Switzerland) — ~$60,000–$75,000 / year (Smaller private school; boarding options vary.) • Aiglon College (Villars-sur-Ollon) — ~$105,000–$115,000 / year (Elite boarding; alpine campus.) • Institut Le Rosey (Rolle & Gstaad) — ~$110,000–$135,000 / year (Most expensive; dual-campus winter migration.) • La Garenne International School (Villars-sur-Ollon) — ~$75,000–$95,000 / year (Primary/early secondary; boarding available.)
If the kids paid the higher amount for 6 years the total is 2.5 million dollars
Dollar rates in CBN for the last 7 years (Assuming Farouk Ahmed got his dollars from CBN subsidized just like Dangote did for his refinery) • 2019: ~₦360–380 • 2020: ~₦380 ⁺ • 2021: ~₦410 ⁺ • 2022: ~₦450 ⁺ • 2023: ~₦750 ⁺ • 2024: ~₦1,200–1,500 ⁺ • 2025: ~₦1,440–1,450 ⁺
Lets use an average of 450naira....Thats a total of 1.1 billion naira Lets even round it up to 3 billion (To include airfare the MBA child at todays rate, since Emefiele is gone)
I am not defending Farouk Ahmed.
When President Tinubu ordered the withdrawal of police escorts from VIPs, he made a blanket announcement: all police attached to VIPs were to return to duty immediately. He did not single out Peter Obi or Atiku. That is how rules are supposed to work in a serious country, general, neutral, and universal.
My point is simple: when you make a rule, it must apply to everyone, not only to your rival or antagonist.
If Dangote truly wants to fight corruption, let him sponsor a bill in the Nigerian Senate mandating that all public officials educate their children in Nigerian schools. That would be a structural, systemic reform, and I would support him without hesitation.
But using corruption allegations selectively to win a personal or commercial battle with Farouk Ahmed is not reform. Nigerians are not naïve. We know corruption exists. What we are looking for is a credible, principled anti-corruption fight, not a weaponized narrative deployed when business interests collide.
Real reform targets systems, not just enemies. I wonder who paid for your tuition fees while at school, because he's need to be reimbursed by YOU. You need a better narratives to defend the undefendable, let farouk prove Dangote wrong by using a counter statement and evidence negating the allegations. |

But life took each of us somewhere different. Some people found direction, others got lost. Some built stability, others battled storms no one saw. Some grew into themselves, others are still trying to figure out who they are.
The truth is, none of us became exactly who we thought we’d be.
If anything, it’s a reminder to be gentle with people. We’re all living lives our younger selves could never have understood. That's the reality of life. |
