There was one particular day that Mr. president was completely out of it....that was when OBJ wrote and publicly released a letter to Jonathan. The letter pointed out all the things that were upside down, why there were upside down and also revealed Jonathan's weakness. It was a very bad day for Mr. president... I'm very certain that he will never forget this painful day and surely will never forget OBJ.

Jonathan was so tired and frustrated to the point that he enjoyed cooling down in the evening with some type of alcohol (not sure which type)..The drinking habit became more visible especially when those school girls were kidnapped in the north by Boko-haram. In fact, Jonathan was so out of it, he truly didn't want to win his second term election. If it was up to him, he would have stepped down at the end of his first full term. When INEC announced that Buhari had won, it was like taking off a very heavy load off Jonathan's shoulders...that was why it was extremely easy for him to call Buhari to congratulate him and concede.

I still respect the man as a nice guy who had absolutely no business leading this complicated nation.

Jonathan didn't want to be a governor or VP or president. The man is a very nice guy, a solid follower, but not a leader...He was never prepared or equipped enough to be the VP or the president. That was why everybody, including his wife stepped all over him.
It is also known that during his time in office, most governors, senators etc did not respect the man, simply because they felt that he lacked the qualities of a true leader.

It is very important, especially for our leaders in Nigeria to recognize that being a leader is not for everyone. There is nothing wrong with being a loyal follower. In fact, without great followers, most leaders will struggle to accomplish their various goals effective and efficiently.
I personally believe that Jonathan is not a leader, but an excellent follower that a great leader desires to have on his team.

If all was equal in Nigeria today, Peter Obi wouldn't even qualify to be a mere Zenith bank manager.

A few months ago a catholic church was attacked in Ondo state, PRESIDENT-ELECT Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was at the church less than 14hrs after the attack to support the church members and the victims' family... Mr. Opportunist Peter Obi was nowhere to be found. And the senseless flatheadss are still wondering how Tinubu won Ondo state and Ekiti state so quickly and with very large gab. I don’t think this is it. The igbos don’t hate Tinubu, they have not had any reason to align with APC. Buhari’s administration alienated them with the 97%-5% comment. Didn’t you see that the zone produced 6 APC senators out of 15? That is more than one-third! They voted massively for Obi and still produced 6 senators. The reason they would not support your presidential candidate is because they want to produce a president, which isn’t a bad thing. Tinubu said it was his turn, SE felt it was their turn.
