Honestly, I don't understand how the Supreme Court has the original jurisdiction to hear this matter. They joined the EFCC, ICPC as defendants. The Supreme Court only has party original jurisdiction when the parties include FG, NASS, state HOAs and the presidency

musicwriter: The bottom line is that the US is not yet ready for a female president.
Obama is an intelligent person and he got a hunch to pick a replacement at the Democrats national Congress as soon as Biden announced he was stepping down but it seems he was pressed to drop the idea.
Hilary Clinton should have taught them a lesson but they didn't learn. Common sense should tell anybody that if Trump could beat Hillary Clinton, then he can beat any other female candidate in the US.
It doesn't appear to be a woman-like ability issue, rather the ideological posturing of the Democratic party. Their ideas are not appealing to the majority of Americans. Harris campaign was based almost entirely on abortion rights and cultural issues which appear to be too extreme to the majority. Republicans had a fun time attacking them on this. It's almost as if the issues which used to win over voters for Democrats were abandoned.
The way I see it, the Republican party may be the first to elect a female president, except Democrats field a Margaret Thatcher-kind of female presidential candidate.
CoronaVirusPro: It’s not a time to blame but a time to learn from mistakes and strategize!
Biden and Harris killed too much people and it backfired.
The obese orange turd will be in power for 4 years and that’s enough time to get it right.
Absolutely! Biden/Harris alienated different blocs of voters : Arab-Americans, Latinos, working class. Ironically, it's not like Trump has anything good in stock for them but the simple fact that he at least, appeared to care about the different issues facing those sets of voters throughout the campaign made him victorious. For example, Trump is undoubtedly pro-Israel, even quoted saying he'd give Israel everything they need to "finish off" Palestine. But then the same man was strategically courting Arab-American voters in Michigan. At a point, he even invited Imams/Muftis to his rally. Meanwhile, Harris was shutting the pro-Palestine people away from her campaign. She was spending a lot of time courting "moderate" Republicans who were not really going to vote for her anyway.
Trump will put on a shitshow for his four years. And that would create a favourable environment for Democrats. That's certain. Democrats better learn from this and put their acts together because even if come 2028, and the environment is favourable to them, they may still find themselves in the same position.
SmartPolician: We didn't hear rigging up and down because Donald Trump won. If Harris had won, the mad man would've been all over the place calling for recounting and saying that it was rigged. Donald Trump is just an uncultured Nigerian in a white man body.
You know the ironic thing? At the eve of election, Trump started claiming voter fraud was ongoing in the key state of Pennsylvania. He won the state. I'm willing to wager that if he had lost the state, he would not accept the results on this premise
Ewedegubbler: The dems stood no chance without rigging
Oh, yeah? Days before the election, Trump was spreading bogus claims of massive voter fraud in Pennsylvania. He eventually won the state, which cemented his path to victory.
So now that he won, his claims of voter fraud suddenly evaporated.
franchasng: I won't waste your time, I am going to give you a short list of why Kamala Harris Lost to Donald Trump.
1.) Americans are not ready to allow a woman lead them as President. In as much as they champion gender equality, they understand the dangers of electing a woman, a black or mixed raced as the POTUS. The current generation of Americans now are not ready for that risk.
2.) Americans don't joke with Israel's security. Whoever told Kamala Harris to criticize Israel, publicly condemning Israel defense of her homeland from Moslem terrorists attacks was wrong. She should have kept her mouth shut.
3.) In as much as Americans support freedom, equality and liberalism, the way Kamala Harris supports LGBT, Abortion, genderless madness and other anti Christian wokeism practices became worrisome to so many real Americans not the fake Americans wannabes.
4.) Most Americans are tired of Ukraine Russian war and they believe Trump can put an end to the war and save the world from a possible 3rd world war or nuclear battle. The Americans of today love fun and enjoyment more than anything and not ready to go to any war like Americans of the 1940s to 1990s
5.) Islamic Terrorists Madness in MiddleEast and the rising popularity of Iran. Americans believe only Trump can put a stop to Iran's madness in the MiddleEast.
6.) Migrant Influx. Many White Americans are tired of migrants trooping into their country. They believe if this is not checked, America will lose its glory in no distant time so they want a President that can be bold enough to stop or slow down migration to a great extent.
And Kamala Harris has been in support of allowing migrants in while Trump is against undocumented migrants coming into the US, especially those from Moslem countries, Africa, Haiti, Colombia and Mexico.
These are the main reasons Kamala Harris Lost.
You are wrong on your assessment of her support for Israel. In fact, most of the times, she appeared too pro-Israel. Other times, she appeared to dance around the issue without actually taking a stance. By this, she alienated Arab-American voters. She could have won Michigan with the support of that bloc.
Now, I'm beginning to believe she made a mistake picking Tim Walz. She should have just gone with Shapiro. That would have helped a great deal in Pennsylvania.
lovediehatelive: It's a two edged sword, but I believe any candidate that wins the popular vote with over 5 million margin would definitely clinch the electoral votes
Doesn't exactly matter. If you look at California, for instance. It's heavily populated and the demographics are strongly skewed towards Democrats.
Ideally, if there is a high democratic turnout for a democratic candidate, he'd have a high total popular vote, but such candidate can still go on to lose the electoral vote.
tundegan: I hope the guy predicting Trump win is not the same one that predicted Hillary will win in 2016.
If that is the case, then his prediction is already dead on arrival.
Nope, you are wrong. In fact, he (Allen Litchman) predicted a Trump victory in 2016. Everyone was saying Clinton will win, he was the only pollster that said otherwise.
It's hilarious to watch bitter Trump supporters insulting him when just 7 years ago, they praised him for his accurate analysis.
How is it that the Supreme Court is the appropriate venue for this suit? The Supreme Court has original jurisdiction to hear matters where the parties involved are the Federal Government, state governments, the National Assembly, or the Presidency,
These anti-graft agencies are federal agencies and do not fall within the category of parties required to trigger the Supreme Court's original jurisdiction.
Topman7: Use your brain. It’s not there for decoration.
This directive will open up opportunities for NIGERIAN content creators.
That’s how you grow your economy.
Not by the capital flight of importing everything including cartoons, but by INDIGENISING productive activities and creating value in-house. And then exporting your value.
Instead of Nigeria importing irrelevant cartoons from USA, Nigeria should be a powerhouse of cartoon production, exporting to other African and Caribbean countries and beyond.
Now, use your own brain and think critically. Yes, it is true that it might support Nigerian content creators, but since when did protectionism alone become a guarantee for economic growth? Real economic development is driven by quality and global competitiveness. Even if foreign cartoons are banned, if the locally produced ones are not marketable, there will zero impact.
If we truly want to indigenize and create value, what the FG needs to do is to invest in infrastructure, skill development, and ensure that our local content can stand on its own in the global market. Simply banning foreign cartoons won't magically grow the economy. It’s about building quality, not just closing the door.
To put it in the simplest of terms, Nigeria has now decided to forget about the things that truly matter, like ensuring the quality of education, healthcare, or infrastructure. Instead, what truly threatens our nation’s future, it seems, are the cartoon characters with suspiciously rainbow-colored outfits. How thoughtful
Even way before this .. he was recommended by the same Senator Mbata he's quarrelling with today to Peter Odili for Local Govt Chairman.
PS: Little kids who don't live in Rivers state are trying to rewrite history... those of us born and bred there will sit down and listen to you spew nonsense 😂.. Now listen or read...
1. Wike was recommended by Senator Mbata to Odili for LG chairman obio akpor and Mary Odili took him as a son... her pet project to make sure he became chairman. That's the same woman he's abusing today.
2. Amaechi made him his chief of staff which was well deserved considering the role Wike played in helping the former reclaim his mandate at the courts after the whole OBJ 'K-leg' brouhaha
3.Amaechi recommended him for minister when he was becoming too over bearing in Rivers state. He was so notorious that he could stop Amaechis convoy so that he could sign any document he wanted. He was and still is a rascal.
4. He didn't want to leave RS for FCT to be minister because he was nursing a governorship ambition and was unhappy with that recommendation. He capitalised on the beef between amaechi and the Jonathans at the time to further his ambition and warm his way into PEJ heart leading to the events of the video you watched up there.
At every step of his career, he was helped by someone... Funny thing is, EVERYONE who has helped the charlatan, he has fallen out with.. EVERYONE.. no exceptions!
Thats the idiot that is talking about loyalty and gratitude today... 😂
On a serious note , we need to check the mans sanity.. we may think hes just a stubborn, bold individual meanwhile the fellow could be suffering from straight up schizophrenia or Bipolar Disorder. He doesn't talk like a sane individual.
Basically , he falls out with everyone he's had a relationship with it.
I'm just waiting to see whether it is Wike who will stab Tinubu in the back or it is Tinubu who will be the first to throw him under the bus. The slippery alliance between the both of them will eventually come to an end. It is inevitable. But at whose instance is what will be interesting to see.
SamGift0817: The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike, has ridiculed the camp of the Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara, by showing off this pool of supporters ahead of the 2027 Governorship election in Rivers state.
Meanwhile the All Peoples Party (APP) has provided the bullet-proof SUV for Governor Fubara to coast to victory in 2027.
I'm pretty sure that it is you that will cry and wail heavily when you find out that your Master, your alpha and omega, the one that gives you life, is defeated come November.
And for those that are not in immersed in the Trump cult world, don't be surprised . This is how they praise him.
COOL10: It's today I confirmed that truly the mainstream media e.g CNN, BBC and the likes are nothing but a bunch of liars. Those people don't have shame oo. Dem dey lie no be small.
If I hadn't watched that debate live, I would have probably believed that Kamala won, because that's exactly what CNN and BBC want people to believe.
Unfortunately for them, I watched it from the beginning till the end and saw for a fact that Donald Trump OBLITERATED Kamala. He focused on the topics while Kamala kept on avoiding the questions and resorted to insults by calling Trump a dictator, e.t.c.
Trump waited for Kamala to finish speaking before he responded, meanwhile, Kamala kept on interrupting Trump till the point that Trump had to tell her twice to keep quiet (he gave her a taste of her own medicine, since it's what she did to other candidates like Pence, in the past).
Trump's points on the Economy, Immigration, National security and Foreign policy far outweighed everything Kamala said. All Kamala did was to tell numerous lies like talking about love letters to North Korea's President, she lied on her stance on fracking and also the false creation of 800,000 jobs, which were actually jobs that people returned to after Covid.
The only topic that favoured Kamala was on abortion. That's a no-brainer. It was always going to favour her. Apart from that, Donald Trump won that debate hands down. Clear victory for President Trump.
Please mind how you watch CNN, BBC and the likes. They're liars and deceivers from the pits of hell. No wonder their ratings have been going down lately.
I expected this same bogus narrative you keep pushing . You've criticised BBC and CNN so I'm of the impression that you watched from one of the conservative news outlet.
If it's not Fox News, maybe NewsMax or OAN. If you watched from any of those, so you think your claim about media bias hold any water?
Anyway, after watching the ABC live coverage, I went to watch Fox's live recorded coverage. And as as matter of fact, there was no difference. Same performance, same questions and answers. So the story you're pushing that one network makes one candidate looks better than the other is obviously an attempt to implicitly admit Trump performed terribly and crown him as the winner.
And yes, Kamala interrupted him twice. I bet he was waiting for that moment to pass. He literally said "I'm speaking , remember that?". Lol That smacks of desperation to give that response. But guess what, he didn't really work out well for him though. They were low energy responses. He himself hated the way he had his mouth glued throughout. That's not the typical Trump. He looked helpless throughout.
And of course, they touched on every topic except that neither of them went into the specifics. Though, Kamala outlined her goals, she didn't go into the details. Trump, not exactly. Just the exact same things he repeats to his base on the campaign trails.
If you're capable of objectivity, there's no way you'd watch that debate and not conclude that Kamala did much better
ShogunNoName: Kamala was trashed in that debate . Taylor swift endorsing anyone is like Tinubu endorsing you. Only teenagers are her followers who can't or don't vote.
Teenagers who paint their hair pink and still live with their parents
Very useless endorsement
Kamala should just withdraw now before it's too late 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This will be the most embarrassing defeat for the democrats in history of American elections 🤣🤣🤣
Are you living under a rock? Did you even watch the debate. Everything from Trump's demeanor to his continuous yelling into the mic throughout the debate shows just how unsettled he was. If you are a Trump-MAGA worshipper, then oh, my bad. Yours is a hopeless case. Whatever your lord and master says is the truth. On election day, you will come back here and you will find out on whose side your "most embarrassing defeat" label will fit in. Until then, keep living in your delusional world
Even if he's truly sidelined, it's absolutely normal. In fact, that's how it should be. The VP must always stay in the shadows. The president is and must remain the star of the administration.
Constitutionally, VPs don't have a role. It is what the president tell him to do that he would do. The president defines what the VP's role is. It's practically a useless political position, except, of course, the fact that it's a breath away from the presidency. But then again, no VP has successfully gone on to become president, so politically, it's not necessarily advantageous.
Edit: I should note that Goodluck Jonathan did become president after Yaradua passed away in office. However, every other VP that has tried to attain that feat by contesting directly for it has always been hindered by powers that be. Take Atiku and Osibanjo.
You don't support Kamala more than me, but the truth is , the time is not just yet ripe for a woman to lead the world most powerful nation.
Wait and see the atrocities of Islamic terrorists around the world if Kamala finally wins. They will even price USA because Kamala as a woman will bring so much emotions into politics and decision making. No woman has that steel balls like men.
And this is based on what metrics?
Kamala Harris was elected as the first female vice president in 2020. That's just a breath away from the presidency.
If she was electable as VP, then why is she suddenly unelectable as president? If something happens to Biden, she'd become president given that she's first in line to the presidency.
Excellent choice! Initially, Shapiro seemed okay but the recent sexual harassment cover up scandal and his extreme Zionist views could cause too much distraction
MadeInTokyo: Trump will win both the popular votes and electoral college votes come November Who is ready to bet
You mean Trump, who hasn't won the popular vote both for himself and the Republicans at large?
In 2016, he lost the PV. In 2018, Republicans lost the House. 2020, Biden trounced him. 2022, Republicans, though regained majority but by a just 8 seats. In addition to that, they lost key senate races in states that are traditionally Republican because Trump helped nominate unelectable candidates.
Omoawoke: Honestly, Trump does not deserve to be president after what he did to America on January 6th, but America no go vote woman
You all need to stop repeating this "America will not vote a woman" narrative. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote with more than two million votes. She didn't become president only because she lost the electoral college in a few key swing states she had hoped to win naturally. She'd have won had she campaign rigorously in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Yet, she lost by an aggregate of less than 170,000 votes in those three states put together. It was so close.
This is now 2024. A lot of sane independents and even some moderate Republicans have seen Trump for the nuisance that he is. The circumstances now are different. Kamala really has a shot.
thesicilian: Trump was like Goodluck Jonathan: he wasn't interested in manipulating the polls to his advantage. Which is exactly what was done to him by the democrats. Just like APC did to Jonathan as well.
Huh? You don't really believe this, do you?
"I just need you to find me 11,780 votes"
Please Google search who said that, as a start.
And then read up January 6th attack on the US Capitol. Should make for some interesting read
LegendHero: It’s going to be a hard task. But it’s possible.
It is a do or die affair now for the democrats, Trump must be stopped by all means and even if they nominate a dog, democrats will vote that dog let alone a human.
USA is electoral college, it’s a winner take all system. So they just need to make sure they can retain those states Biden won and not flip those swing states.
They have no choice. If Trump win, their own don finish.
Exactly! It really now depends on who Kamala picks as her VP. The choice of VP will either boost her chances or just elicit lukewarm reaction
