GOtv is Nigeria’s newest pay TV service which was launched sometimes in October 2011. Using the latest DVB-T2 technology, this brand new digital service is dedicated to offering television lovers affordable family entertainment and giving Nigerians access to a digital pay tv at an affordable price. But what surprises me most about this TV is the network service.
the TV comes with an internal antenna which is supposed to give the device its required network service, but in most cases, the antenna is not performing its duty which is very bad, sometimes it brings low signals, which gives you no other option than buying a GoTV EXTERNAL ANTENNA of 2500 Naira, after u might have paid 9500 for the TV. this sounds crazy because the manufacturers knows the network situation of NIGERIA before they came up with this idea,therefore i see a foolish and selfish marketing strategy which is aim at deceiving us, so that they would be able to sell the GOVT antenna too, because they knew from inception that the internal antenna wont be enough to make the TV work.so guys what do u see to this?
