Hello boss, I have a 58" Skyworth Smart TV, (58e510) had it for over 5 years.
Problem developed sometime last year: goes off after a while.
When ON, it can go for as long as 1hr or as short as few minutes before tripping OFF and the red light comes on again (standby mode)
Took it to Samsung, they said the model is old and advised to get another TV cheesy
Another tech guy saw the issue as Display board related and he couldn't find it online.
Please I need another opinion. personally, I think it may be power board related.
Kindly advise.

hello all, my LG 42" went off while we were watching the TV and wouldn't turn on.
so someone introduced me to a technician who came around to pick up the tv and collected 12k upfront, saying he would get back to me.
he called me today asking me to pay additional 65k for the repair again....just to repair a tv that just went off while watching.
1. pls is this guy trying to rip me off?..
2. what in the tv could be as expensive as 77k?

On issue with your LG, obviously I wouldn't know if you are being overcharged. But definitely there are faults that will require that much to fix.

Started yesterday night, I tried power off & on with remote , it does work fine , after 30min same thing happened again, I had to restart the power, works fine for hours. Until this morning, the issue started and now even wen I off and on, it LL still remain light darkish screen.

What could be the cause and the solution bro this??

this is very likely a failed screen or TCON board depending on the model.
