I apply to study science laboratory technology (S.L.T)in fedpoffa with 65 percent in my post UTME and 199 in my JAMB but I failed biology in my SSCE result with d7 while i cleared d rest with B3 including Maths, English, Physics, and Chemistry (i really like dis course wella and i need a reply that can help me on dis issue maybe 2 loose hope something else)

did u think i can still gain admission without biology in studying S..L.T ?

My advice 2 u iz 2 wait, mayb apply 4 wassce nxt yr n try 2 make ur biology, so dat ur admission wil b geniue 2 d core, or whould u lyk a situation whereby u wil b givin cöncession admission,wich 4 me u wil later regret, bro evritin shud b followed wit itz protocol, cus biology iz ur cole subject oo, tink twice bro.

GCE can never make dis year's admission. I also believe all science courses requires Biology except Agricultural courses which may require Agric in lieu of Biology/Physics.
The truth is bitter bt must be told: U will definately be Screened out

No way. Don't let anybody decieve u.

i dont know how they do it in Offa but in unilag (back in '03), you could still do screening with 'Awaiting result' status. but you MUST provide the results before you write your first exam and the process is more tedious, sometimes you even pay a fine. find out if ur school offers that type of option.

Awaiting result is d best option 4 u.Biology is even more imperative as long as SLT is what u filled for.

If u av a copy of brochure, check it u'l c d requirements 4 admission into d cos u desire.

U can't gain admission to study slt without biology, am a gradute of slt so i know dat for sure. But u should be able to gain admission with awaiting result..

Mehn...I think all u need do now is get information from å student in the school.They will advice u better.
I believe u can use this year's GCE if only manual clearance is going to be next year.

Some schools like Unijos are backward and slow, NOV/DEC 2012 results which come in, in December could be used.

Go to d school and ask from any staff u meet there.thats ur best bet. SLT in what discipline?if its SLT in microbiology then u'll definitely need the biology.and if u do need it then u need to write ur WAEc again.and also try to rewrite jamb so u dont settle for less.Goodluck

d truth is dat 4 everi science related course...u cant go anywhere without biology.....in simple english its nt possible.

What is B3 and D7?

In my time, you had A, C, P and F. My parents only talked about getting A1-A3. Worst case scenrio C.
Anyway I didn't do tertiary education in Naija but I doubt if D7 is below credit grade, that they'll admit you. But they say nothing is impossible in Naija.
