Are there parents who have kids in federal government colleges or others who may know on nairaland? .From those who know better, I need advice or whether to let the federal colleges are still good, and if a child would fare well there and why?

the federal gov.colleges are the best but in terms of external examination, the private do well cos they support malpratice which fgc schools dont do

I was in d same situation but I went2 a private sch @abuja and it was excellent I tell u. Dnt mind d person
Talkn bou 'supporting malpractice' it depends
On d standard of d school! I was a bright student but I culdnt cope dere.
I know of a school@ owerri,no matter who u are if ur child fails maths n english-he/she repeats d class,its all about d 'private school's standard'.

1ndidi2,if u are frank,u will agree with me that during waec or neco,u guys usually contribute a little token which u call entertainment fee.but there is no such thing like entertainment.its used in bribing the invigilators

I am franca!! U arnt listening-"standard"
If u had seen our waec n neco results
U wuld tink d school didn't want progress
Yet we still got so many students,dt some had2 be sent back
It was run by missionaries dt even muslims had no qualms!all
because of d "standard"
Tho it wasn't easy2 make good grades, they trained us well
And 2day most of my classmates r doing well.

Federal Government Colleges. But some private schools are good too. I attended a Federal school. . .the experience was awesome. . .the results were marvelous. . . All my mates cleared their results including myself. We studied as if the world was coming to an end . . I wish I could give you the name of the school so you can confirm from waec & neco authorities. . . We forbid C6 & C5!
