Jesus: he is my lord and personal saviour, without him, there would be no me. Job: His courage to remain ressilent with his faith in the face of abject poverty, death of his household makes him one of my favourite bible personality. Doubting Thomas; The only smart guy who asked for evidence. The runner ups are Jesus; the nice but racist Jew. (See Matthew 15;22-26 Elisha; The emotional bald man who hates children but loves bears |

Acidosis: I will be burnt in hell for telling the truth? Why are christians so wicked? It's funny how christians gleefullyel unbelievers that they will burn in hell. Your God in his infinite wisdom will send someone like me to hell for criticizing the bible but will send a repentant rapist to heaven if he changes his ways before death! LWKMD |

Acidosis: How silly; If I went to your house and shot your family then repented in Jail, I would go to heaven. But if I live a good life, helped your family but didnt believe in the nonnsense in the bible, I would go to hell. You and your god are jokers! |

MacDaddy01: "No sinner will go unpunished" That you ask God for forgiveness doesn't mean you won't pay for your sins. Get yourself a copy of the Bible, read the book of revelations for better understanding. Jesus never sinned all his life, but he died, so why on earth do you think you wear an immunity clause even when you were born into sin ? |
Re: Who's Your Favourite Bible Personality? by MacDaddy01: 1:51am On Aug 19, 2012 |
Acidosis: No sinner will go unpunished? Does that mean that everyone will go to hell since we are all sinners? Jesus sinned too; he flogged people, destroyed private property and chased people from the synagogue. If hed had done that in todays churches, he would have been beaten and arrested |

Thomas of course. He did not work by blind faith, he tested and verified before accepting anything, even though he was a disciple of Jesus. |

David: even the Bible itself describes him as a man after God's own heart. He always realised his sins and then asked God for forgiveness. |
