dis u say public holiday?Sorry to say this but you just LIED.I was in a very busy Union Bank of Nigeria branch today.Why did the holiday not affect other transactions? hmmmmmm.....somehow it's only our DEC pay that was affected?Anything Government don start,to end am de hard.

If wat u said is true then its a pity that gov. AMAECHI has deceived the people as usual because he openly said it on the radio that his Govt will pay salaries b4 24th December ... In essence he lied and deceived us knowing that not all banks had enough money to pay salaries out of their own coffers ... Are u saying that zenith bank is so rich that they can afford to pay December salary and one month arrears from their coffers ? How will they recover their money from RVSG ? Will they still have enough money to pay January salaries ?? If AMAECHI did not give out money to banks what gave him such confidence to say that he will pay salaries b4 24th December eeeeh ? If he gave out money it means the banks are withholding it , if he didn't give out money it means he lied knowing fully well that not all banks will cooperate to pay salaries out of their coffers ... Zenith bank, Eco bank and Skye bank have all paid December salary and one month arrears with zenith paying 11k christmas bonus , the question is who gave these banks money to pay salaries ? If it was the RVSG why were other banks not credited so as to pay workers ? I do not believe that these banks paid workers out of their own coffers, they are not a charitable organization.

Its high time NUT look into this issue of delay of salaries n non payment of arrears, we teachers in Rivers state r no longer happy wit d way our salaries n arrears are being delay. We worked for it n it is to be paid when due.one tin government don't remember is that teachers are the role model of the learners and a hungry teacher is as well an angry teacher

The Nigeria Labour Congress in the state was congratulating the Governor for the payment of December salary and Xmas bonus to all civil servants in the state, so your assertion is incorrect, there is no money in the state, it has been used for Buhari's campaign. More so, the Governor had lied.

my friend,do not be deceived.All unions in Rivers state that has to do with the Rivers state Civil service have been "bought".They all work together.Where was the NLC when we were owed Arrears for all his while? Don't mention at all, the delay of December salary is from the banks. Why are they the last to pay every month. Esp. First/UBA banks. Leave the Gov. alone from this blame. He has paid Dec salary since Dec 16th '14.
