We’ve just got word from one of our tipsters that starting tomorrow; MTN will slash call prices on all its existing tariff plans and introduce new plans MTN Smooth talk, MTN Booster weekly and MTN Booster Monthly. In testing, we can confirm that the MTN Smooth talk plan is already LIVE as we were able to migrate to the plan without hitches. You have gotta love the competition in the Nigerian telecoms industry right now, here is hoping that besides cost, they also compete on the service quality front also.See a breakdown of the new MTN plans, below. MTN will never fail to disappoint me.

The best thing to come out of them was the free nite calls.

I'll be here waiting for the bash thread.

Etisalat provides 20K per second to all networks on activation of an internet/blackberry bundle (from 200mb I think)

Things are really turning out good. Now I really hope some people can stop flashing now the rates have dropped. angry cheesy

Guys, how do you change to this new plan. Text what to what?
Re: MTN Introduces New Call Tariffs by titus3: 11:00am On Aug 23, 2012
Some people have been blinded by their perennial hatred of MTN so much that they cannot see awoof again... I like the price slash, and discerning customers will welcome the Booster Cards back into the market!!

Let someone quickly do a comparison with the other networks so we can see which tariff plan is better... Although I suspect that other networks too would try and crash prices too...

THE CUSTOMER HAS BECOME KING O!

I'm not a fan of MTN.....but how low do we want MTN to go before we can say they are starting to change.
Common.......N5 daily access fee for 20k/s [/b]to all networks is fair enough..........i'm on the plan now as I type.

Competition has brought MTN to their senses.
