I don't know what happened between P SQuare and May D, so i won't be taking sides but i will fault P Square for not informing May D before going public to announce to the public that he's no longer a member of their record label. That being said, i really don't see anything wrong with P Square removing May D's video if this video is on their official youtube channel. If it's not, then it's a very childish and fooolish thing to do.

That still doesn't take anything away from P Square from being the biggest music groups in Africa. They also tried by promoting May D to the level that he is now. I can say authoritatively that without P SQuare May D woulnd't have found it easy attaining his present status which includes featuring alongside Akon in "Chop my money" because that's where people noticed his talent. The good thing is that people now know him and another good record label won't waste time to sign him on.

I hope May D can come out and tell us why his relationship with Psquare and Jude "Engees" Okoye went sour.

According to inside gist, MayD NEVER signed an official contract with Square Records. They only had a verbal agreement. So, when it was time to sign the contract, MayD made some demands that Square Records were not willing to meet. For this reason, their relationship dissolved.

If MayD is no longer part of psquare's setup, then it makes sense that they remove his videos from their channel. Can anyone give me one good reason why they shouldn't have taken it down?

MayD is free to, and should put the video up on his own channel and show his own videos there. If there are costs to be settled regarding the making of the video, then he should sort it out or get his new label/sponsor to settle it.

P square's video for "no 1 like u" was taken down by the person in whose channel it was on YouTube even though it had over 10 million views. They had to start from square 1 (lol) by putting it in their own channel & the view count had to start from zero again!

So why should MayD's case be different? Haba!! How was thier act malicious? The guy no dey thier crew again, wetin u wan make dem do.
