Fraudsters have perfected another mechanism of extorting money from unsuspecting individuals and organiztions. From a personal experience, aslo confirmed by the Area Commander, ZoneD in Mushin,Lagos.

1. They will transact business with u and request for bank account no for payment.
2. They will no go ahead and hack into the bank system(i cant explain how they achieve this) and send u bank alert as if it was sent by the bank confirming they have paid into your account
3.They appear to take delivery of the goods, commodities etc they purchased and disappeared into thin air.

We have such a case and currently lodged the report at Zone D where the Area Commander also confirmed so many recent cases similar to it.

Please be extracareful! That u receieve a bank alert is no more sufficient o!

cheers!

Better still, go to nearest ATM to check ur balance to confirm the (fake/true) alert you received, simple.
