Judging by the look of the boy he was terrified at the feeling of the occurrence andall these men could do were to film and snap pictures?
Unless one has his heart replaced with music box then one should see these guys need to be prosecuted. What in the world are these people really doing?

Am sure the python can't harm the boy;they have a complete filming and other crew on site,usually this includes animal specialists and armed rangers.
If they are sure its no longer safe and the boys life is in danger,the ranger did open fire on the python.
Besides,you are not saying the channel set the boy up,right?
They might have stumbled on the snake attempting to strangle the boy,seeing no danger,they decided to film.
