September 4: Nigeria v USA @ 8am

The Falconets should be wary of USA's Ugbogagu, Maya Hayes and Di Bernardo; these players are very dangerous in attack. Our fullbacks shouldn't attack much because Hayes and Ugbogagu possess so much pace on the wings. If the Falconets put up another solid defensive performance against the Americans, then they will advance to the final.

Plus, the American defense isn't too good, therefore we can expect the Falconets attacking trio of Oparanozie, Sunday(?) and Ordega to have clear-cut scoring chances. Judging from the game against Mexico, I think Coach Okon should start Ebere orji and drop Esther Sunday to the bench. Sunday's decision making in the last game was atrocious at times. Ebere Orji, with her speed is a more intelligent player. Anyway, good luck to Naija's darling Falconets!

Fun Fact: Since the beginning of this calendar year, the Falconets have only conceded ONE goal in SEVEN competitive matches. These include the 4 world cup qualifying matches and the 3 matches played at the tournament so far.

I think all they just have to ensure is a tight defence. The coach should start with a defensive game and see how it goes. USA have a porous defence, the nigerian falcons can capitalize on that.
