NIGERIAN ARTISTES BAG 17 NOMINATIONS


The Channel O MVA 2012 is here again and as always Nigerian artistes have shown their music dominance on the African continent. Well, except for South Africa (Channel O’s home country). Nigeria artistes showed class and got nominated in almost all categories except for those limited to specific regions.


The annual Channel O Music Video Awards has grown to become Channel O’s signature event. 2012 will see the awards taking place on Saturday, 17th November at Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, bringing the Channel O Music Video Awards to Soweto for the first time.

Please vote for our Naija Artistes, and barring any ‘South African wayo’, our artistes should come home with a handsome collection of awards.

Another reason why nigeria can not be one indivisible entity. Do you see them putting yoruba at the end, rather they sald NIGERIA. Though i'm not a yoruba guy, but its high time we stop this tribalistical mentality for the sake of our future. After are those nominees not good enough to rep. Naija? The sincere answer is YES.

Pump it on, not "up". Toya Delazy: Pump It On. is definately going to win this category, i've never seen any contemporary female African artist like Toya, the lyrics, the beat, the video, every thing about this song is outstanding. Nigeria is likely to win every other category.
