One thing that has got me puzzled lately is why strength sports are not popular among black people despite the fact that they have natural advantages for strength. They seem to limit themselves to just a narrow range of sports (sprinting and basketball) and nothing else.

According to scientific research, blacks tend to have:

- Denser (stronger) bones than other races
- Denser muscles, less fat, and a tendency to build muscles more quickly
- A preponderance of fast-twitch muscles which are mainly for strength, as opposed to slow-twitch muscles which are mainly for endurance and are found much more in white people. People with mainly fast-twitch muscles tend to be stronger than people with mainly slow-twitch muscles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_strength)
- Tend to produce more natural hormones (like testosterone) than other races

Yet, despite these stark-obvious advantages, blacks rarely feature in these strength sports and hardly seem to have much interest in them. What could be the reason(s) for this?

This proves my point. You guys do not even know what strength sports are! Who's talking about jumping and running? I'm talking about sports like Weightlifting, Powerlifting, World's Strongest Man competition, Short Put, Hammer etc...

THOSE are strength sports.

Not a single black man, for example, has ever won the World Strongest Man competition or even come anywhere close. Blacks are almost non-existent in such contests.
