The continuous rate of extortion in Nigeria is getting so unbearable that the revolution which is expected to be far away might be drawing close.
Ecobank of Junction Road, Kaduna which NYSC of Kakuri (Kaduna South) secretariat has forced upon Serving Corpers pays 17,900 to Corpers instead of N19,800 as expected.
They claimed that the charges was meant for charges on issuance of ATM cards (N750) and Monthly charges of N300 from accounts which were meant to be savings accounts.
This is annoying adding to the fact that officials of the above named bank have an attitude of being so rude to customers, most especially Youth Corp Members.
This is absolutely uncalled for, and I think it requires urgent attention as it might sprout the anger of Corp members in no time.
We hereby call on members of the public to make this known to the appropriate quarters of the NYSC scheme who should address this matter with all prejudice.
