We hear, read and say this phrase very often. Especially by workers. TGIF is a popular phrase that originated from people who receive their paychecks on Fridays, so naturally they look forward to that day. However, Naija pips have quickly adopted that phrase and I'm sure that most people don't really know why they say it!

For me, I am always thankful its Friday because it is time to review how many business deals we have closed for the week and how many we are expecting the following week. I mean, we need the cash to play hard in the approaching weekend na

I also TGIF because I get to spend good time with Hubby outside work. And not to forget mentioning that I get to enjoy being pampered, the facials, the spa (not every weekend though) and the other fun tinz.
