Guys beware,lots of scammers on this thread .Especially those who are claiming they have gotten the appointment letters.They are using that scheme to lure unsuspectin desperate applicants.Be wise.If you contact anyone online and the person is requesting for money to help you in securing a job,better run.In as much as they are genuine helpers most are scams.Beware!

However, Minister of Interior, Abba Moro said the ministry was still waiting for the committee to conclude its job before enforcing the president’s directives.
The minister responded while fielding ques-tions from reporters at the Nigeria Immigration Service 50th Anniversary celebration at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
“We are patiently waiting for the committee to diligently do its job, give us the appropriate list and then, we will comply with Mr President’s directive,” Moro said.
Moro however, suggested that the delay with the process may not be unconnected with the cumbersome nature of arriving at the final list.

it reminds me of some who say that Nigeria shld split in2 2 (north & south) so we all go our diff ways.Sudan's problems were even much more compounded after she was split in2 2( north & south).der was more destruction of lives & property after the break up than before the break up.

we ar not in the same line ma bro.by oct we will get our jobs.what u blive works for u.

I sincerely wish the ministry of interior should just absorb enough applicants into the different paramilitary organisations under it's jurisdiction and not into NIS alone. However if this NIS recruitment issue is not finalised latest by 31st December this year; then is it in an election year where politicians will be scrambling for portfolios, that they will revisit it ? The best they can do come next year, is to start a new recruitment exercise to milk more money from Nigerians.

From all signs on the wall, NIS and other para-military are not far again. I cant see it get to December or January.
