In terms of renumeration i.e salaries and allowances they are almost the same but in terms of experience and exposure while one rub shoulders with murderers, armed robbers, rapists and implicated suspects, the other interacts with travellers and may even have the opportunity to travel out as a passport officer in one of the many Nig. embassies around the world.

Nigerians its well... its a pity that the no of unemployed youth is much in the country...but this is s d truth ...take it or leave it...no recruitment is coming from ministry of interior this year again ...all has been postponed till further notice...The only ministry going to place recruitment out this year is ministry of police affairs.... I mean police service commission... many will disregard this info...I don't care...but b real and take the truth

This year, I mean this very year NIS will give me Appointment Letter.

police can't Recruit this year because they don't conduct Replacement, police is until after Elections. because FG will use nscdc for General Elections and Replacement is their food.

. @ Lawal4green n odas let's nt totally trow away dis info,rather we should spread our tentacles 2 gather d latex info as concerns dis. Cos. I was told some weeks bak dat NSCDC replacement. Nd police recruitment comes up within d month of Oct after Army recruitment must have ended by 18th of dis month. So I tink we should make effort 2 knw if dia is any development dat deviate frm wot we ar xpectn.
