can you please elaborate about that? do you mean Windows won't boot off a corrupt usb device or what exactly are you sayng?...
haven't tried mounting an ISO file but i'd say it's long overdue; linux has had that functionality for ages. One other thing, are these points based on personal experience or you got it from a site? if from a site would it be possible to post the link?

All rubbish. Winxp still the most popular is in the world. I always advice ... Buy a high pc, rip out the crappy os an dc stick xp into it.

Winxp's days are numbered and some of the newer pcs won't work properly with XP either - alot of them don't have compatible drivers

what's to stop me putting a corrupt flash after booting? Besides if i was intending to boot off a flash, i won't be planning to boot win8 - unless the win8 was on the flash
