Hi Siena, i came across this blog googling a project i wanted to do, Sticking a 4.2l v8 from audi in my current b5 a4. I was quite happy when i saw that it was possible (thx to you ) Im 20 years old from canada and ive just started my "stage" at bombardier aeronotiques in mirabel, close to montreal. I'm really anxious to see how your project turns out because im planing to do it also when i have enough funds. BTW love the color of the car and the black tone on the roof, reminds me of a 2nd or 3rd gen eagle talon ( pretty much a copy of a mitsu eclipse but different body moldings) Best of luck!!!

Siena, i exercised some patience and went through this thread expecting to be "wowed" with your final delivery having sensed your passion, drive, detail and flawless attempt at communicating your "stuff" to us. 'Know what? I wasn't disappointed!! I admire and applaud your excellent display of intelligence and Iam glad that you are "representing" where you are. It feels good to know that dotted all around the globe are a people who can be the BEST at ALL things IF they so CHOOSE. Siena, you represent the future of our country Nigeria. Keep the flag flying my brother and God bless. Meanwhile, i'm on the look out for the next "project"!! |

Hi again, how much did the tranny and motor add up to? just to know how much ill be needing at least for the project. Are all the Audi 4.2l made out of aluminum alloy? Oh and the motor in an a8 the same one as in a s8 because i know that the new rs4 and s4 motors are completely different but have the same size (4.2) thx and keep up the good work |

Re: Progress. . . by t0mat3: 5:15am On Mar 20, 2008 |
haha siena maybe once i have enough funds, for sure for that price but thats probably around the end of the summer by then ill be done my training but not at bombardier anymore got accepter at L3 communications (the fix the f18's for canada, usa and australia ) but right now i have 3 grand (canadian $) in the bank but i need to buy some shocks and pay off some other stuff but like i said by the end of the summer i should have enough to start my project hoping all goes well . Now if the insurance could hurry up and fix the body some woman hit me in the driver's door and i have 4 grands worth in repairs. Atleast im not paying for it lol |
