Abeg my fellow prospective corpers pray for us oo my class mate just called to inform me that we are not making the batch A. Thats the rumour he heard, i just cant belief it. How can i stay at home for close to a year? The last set went for batch B but i belief the ASUU strike is responsible for that. i dont knw why our school want to slow our career, when i have job waiting for me to collect my NYSC discharge and school result. The set that went for batch B had to presurize the school management with series of meetings before their names was submited to NYSC headquaters for mobilization. But my friend told me that some people wiil sit with the vc to make sure we meet the Batch A ( kogi state university is the school name)

eyyah! I don't know why most government's schools exhibit this kind of lackadaisical attitude toward their students ordeal. I'm going through similar situation as I'm typing now. It is just sheer wickedness!

My folks even tink am making up stories 4 nt goin 4 nysc, they r even kinda skeptic may b m doin xtra year in d uni or v nt graduated b/c all my set went 4 july batch nd novembr came nd stil pasd me by. Akwa ibom payz 6500 wyl Rivers payz frm 10k bt u v 2 consida somany factors in rivers lyk transportation, housing, living xpenses wich is prolly on d high syd. Somany ppl r delusiond by d fact dat Rivers is an oil-rich state so u c em troopin dia in high hopes of landin a job wit shell, mobil, Agip etc bt end up in disapointment.(som hv committed suicide out of frustration sef, lol) I loathe Rivers state,(remynds me of Aluu4 #sad face nd pukes#) dat state is ova crowded jus lyk lagos. Dont know why only state skuls are affected with mobilisation problem. Currently facing the same problem in my skul AAUA 3 batches have been mobilised after i graduated and stil yet we re not sure of the next mobilisation we re currently considering protesting and paralysing academic work in skul. If they re not ready to release us peacefully then they must forcefully

1. Failure of Senate to approve results of studnts due to numerous reasons.
2. When plenty of students are on ground, so they hav to mobile studnt batch by batch

My brother, you have to be hopeful about it...Sometimes I wonder why our schools are always like these, I wonder what their problem is, I wonder what they have to gain by delaying innocent graduates from obtaining liberty...This is the time for everyone to focus more on GOD, HE is the only one that can make things happen...GOD pass dem!!!

Yes, the problems are not limited alone to the ones you have highlited above; for example, my course mates and I were suppose to have been mobilized for the batch C, but for no reason we were not. The painful aspect of it is that our names were delibrately removed from the masterlist. I later learnt that some lecturers beefed my HOD cos she freed some students who were thought not worthy to be graduates. So, this maybe reason why some sadists decided to delay innocent graduates. so there are different reasons for non mobilization of graduates as you rightly pointed. Only God we free us from them

I dnt knw hw tins work in ur own side bt in my skul, clearance has no effect on students mobilization. Use only make use of it to collect ur certification. Hw iz UNN nw? Vry soon u wil start to miss ur alma mata. Enjoy
