lurkee: I wish people will stop feeling guilty about mastur.bation. It is completely natural. You are not hurting yourself or others from doing it. It is touching your own body. Why carry all that guilt for no reason?

I remember when I was so sin-focused I used to feel guilty all the time. I was always praying for forgiveness because I was taught even thinking about things is a sin. Everything is a sin. I decided to free myself from that bondage and now I rarely deny myself anything.
Pls do you mean you have freedom doing anything either good or bad without feeling guilty? Secondly, how can you live without being self conscious about sin?

Having read all the post above, it is obvious that no one is immaculate. We all struggle with one weaknesses or the other, and that is the basis of Jesus death at Calvary. Unlike everyone here, I've struggled with masturbation thinking I can fight it alone, but the more I tried, the worst I become, until I lay everything at His feet. Besides, get a good Christian brother or Sister you can confide in and pray together. Lastly, occupy your word with the Word of God, for it is a lamp to our feet, and a light to our path, Psalms II9 VS 11,105. Shalom.

It appears no one mentioned gossiping. May be Christians no longer consider gossiping a sin – which it is even if the subject line or subject matter remains true. Gossips have not only ruined relationships and marriages, but also maligned characters and destroyed careers (sacred/religious and secular). Some of the most chronic born-again lads and lasses as well as pastors, priests, elders, bishops, etc, I’ve met and interacted with gossiped. In the secular domain (especially in the social sciences), gossiping is positively considered. In the business world, it is considered a counter-productive phenomenon – especially in the work place. Biblically, however, it is an anathema to the Christian faith. Yet, most Christians, indulge and revel in it.
