It beats me when fellow graduates call themselves CORPERS or Ex-CORPERS, i think it's wrong as Corp Member or Ex-Corp Member is appropriate. Infact i had to check my dictionary for the word CORPER again to be double sure before posting this in other not to embarass myself. Or is it allowable (Corper) as a form of pidgin or broken english? I think we should correct ourselves. Pls share your thoughts. 1 Like |

Corps Member is the actual spelling and the correct word. remember the "S" is silent Corper is colloquial colloquial=an expression or language use that is appropriate in informal situations but not in formal ones. 4 Likes |

Corps member it is. guess pple r more comfortable with "corper" as "corps member" is a mouthful. But it is so wrong. 1 Like |

Thanks for your observations, at least now I'm better informed. My buddy almost strangled me claiming there's nothing wrong with saying "Corper" |
