Marriage is a sacred institution but at the same time the people involved are not sacred! Intimacy in a Marriage is specially designed to hold the bond of Marriage together between the two people involved and most times the ‘bedroom talks’ helps a lot in cementing the bond of love in a Marriage! Most couples are fond of not sleeping together on the same bed but would rather keep separate rooms for some excuses like; being too close breeds unnecessary familiarities, he farts loudly while asleep or she gives off silent but smelly farts while sleeping, he snores or she snores too loudly, we argue almost every night before sleeping, and all that! In most times, the ‘matrimonial bed’ have been neglected or violated (through extra marital relationships) and because that ‘matrimonial bed’ is meant to be kept sacred, therefore any acts of defilements attracts secret and open judgments from God (the author of Marriage)! In homes where the couples sleep in the same bedroom, it is just for formality case which is not supposed to be. My take is, couples ought to share the same room and not separate rooms, what do you think?
