Your post reminded me of a time when i was an applicant.i responded to two adverts with phrases similar to those you wrote about. One at OjuElegba in lagos.I still know the place very well.Upon arrival at that place you are asked to pay certain small money for some forms.then you are given some wuruwuru interview questions to answer on paper. Then you are told to submit that they will get back to you.they text me on my phone later that i should come and pay around N1,800.00 for certain admin fees after which i will be issued with appointment letter.when i seek the opinion of people they told me to ignore them that thats how they used to extort money from innocent nigerians. the second was another advert in guardian newspaper that no 30 people needed and no experience is required. the address was olowu street in Ikeja. this guy posed as a UK man and introduced his nameless product to us.that the system was already working but its based on commissions.it was then i realized that this guy wanted to use us as marketers.i quit fast. they are many like that making illegal/immoral money from innocent citizens. i think graduates really need to beware of them. |

shocks: Some Human Resources departments do send such questionnaires that you can fill anywhere and send back to them. The questions are usually to assess your personality type and figure out what work environment best suits you. I have taken one of these before. You can go ahead and answer them. Also do well to research the company online. Nothing to be alarmed about yet unless they are asking for a payment or something like that to go with the questionnaire. Before filling any online form be sure of the site authentication. You also beware not to submit sensitive inform that could aid identity thief or impersonator! |

shocks: But then again my bro, even this questionnaire thing has been corrupted as well. Just be sure that it is the same company that you applied to directly. If they are not straight forward questions on a credible recruitment portal on their known website, then you have a reason to be cautious.the company that send me the reply sent it through there email...... whn i checked the company email in there website, it went in tantem with the email i got the msg from |
