Another Religion- Inspired Tragedy by plaetton: 7:43am On Nov 06, 2012
A Man in New York has had his leg crushed and amputated by a giant crucifix, which he had believed as having cured his wife of cancer.

My sympathies to the poor man.
However, the nagging questions in my mind are,
a. Could this have been just an unfortunate coincidence? In the religious realm, are there such things as coincidences?
b. Again, from a religious perspective, could one say that Jesus or god was simply expressing his anger or displeasure at this man, perhaps for a sin that we are not aware of?
c. Could this be a sort of sacrificial payment, repayment, or barter for the miraculous cure of his wife's cancer?

The assumptions make minimum sense,it was simply his carelessness that crushed his leg
