Andre Blaze who is
presently the host for
the hit TV Reality show
"Nigeria's got talent"
and a one time top 'OAP'
with ' Nigezie ' music channel is going to be
the Star Host for the
South South Music
Awards 2012.

The past host were Spice and Fidel Kastro
hosted the S.S.M.A in
2009, Big Splash was
the host in the year
2010 and in 2011,
Maleke was the host.

In addition to the
above, the are Two (2)
Honorary Life-Time
Achievement Awards.
In the maiden edition,
Life-Time Achievement Awards were
presented to Kenny
Ogungbe ofKennis
Music/Primetime
Entertainment and Alec
Godwin of Alec's Music for their remarkable
contribution to the
growth and
development of the
entertainment industry
and the various artistes they produced.
At the 2011 edition, Edi
Lawani and Ben Olaye
were honored. This
year, we intend to
honor Afro Beat Star Femi Kuti. Attendance/Audience: In the last edition, we
had over one thousand
six hundred (1,600) in
attendance. In addition,
because the event was
aired on the MUSIC MIX show on Edo
Broadcasting Service
(EBS TV), Benin City and
Delta Rainbow
Television (DRTV),
Warri, we were able to reach an estimated Four
Million viewers in both
Edo, Delta, Kogi, Ondo,
Bayelsa and
neighbouring States.
The television broadcast included
both one hour Red-
Carpet Event and Two
Hours Main Event.
This year, we intend to
raise the class of the event hence we have
chosen the Best
Western Homeville
Hotel as venue. A PRE
PARTY is scheduled for
Saturday the 17th of November 2012.
