Depends. if me and my husband are old, then my kids get my estate. But if i am stil young with a loving and caring husband of course he will be in custody of my estates even though i know he will still re-marry if i have to die young. No wahala let the new wife enjoy my legacy. But then as I said he will be in custody until my kids are old enough and then they will take over their belongings. |

This is so unbelievable, this thread was created by a female three years ago and till date it had just one response to it. Does this mean that our ladies find it difficult to answer this question or they decided to shy away from it? |

wanita_s: women women as long there are married legally the husband is entitled to half --- just like the woman is entitled to half law can go against the will if the will doesnt give much to the husband unless if she can prove beyond doubt that it was her own money without a cent and support from husband |

One-third will go to my husband with a proviso that should he pass on it should be given to my kids. A little to my parents if they are alive, & the rest to my kids. I would want to rule out a situation where I will everything to my husband & my kids suffer, should my husband remarry. Also without the proviso, namely that the one-third to him goes to my kids at his passing, he may will it to his wife. Also extended family interference may create problems for my kids. Why should my kids suffer when I am no more. Afterall all my labour is to give them a good life. |
