Using .mq4 files can be very dangerous to your trades. These files are editable indicator scripts that still needs to be compiled using the META-EDITOR. The best of the two(.mq4 and .exe4) is usually .exe4. These files are in their complete and functional state and are therefore more stable than the former. If you still have to use it, please compile it with your META-EDITOR.

from what i gather, the indy has to be edited to include a sendmail() function, and then recompiled.

i've been able to get my MT4 to send me email alerts, which can then be forwarded to group addy (or email2sms service)

the only hurdle is that alerts will come for individual indies, and not if/when all the indies get activated at once. not sure how useful that is.

if u or the person that mentioned it can send me a PM, we can look into this together offline.
