The dinner Alfred: [relaxed manner] How was your school days like? Jane: [Smiling face] Awesome! Alfred: [sips his glass of wine] Which school did you attend then? Jane: [Proudly] Oxford university for my first degree and Harvard for my masters. Alfred: [Gapes his mouth and shakes his head] Wow, splendid! Jane: [Catches Alfred's facial gesture] Did you go Oxford, too? Alfred: [Nods his head like an Agama lizard] Somewhat! Jane: [smiling face] Was it at Oxford or Harvard? Alfred: [Nods like a young boxer listening to a trainer's instructions] Kind of! Jane: [Growing out of patience] Have you travelled or seen the shores of abroad before? Alfred: [Nods again and in more shaky voice] Hmmmmm...... and my journeys were always quick in skies! Jane: [a bit surprised] So you own a jet? Alfred: No.....no! Jane: So how ? Alfred: On the back of a butterfly that offered marvelous rides in childhood dreams. Jane: [Impressed] Wow, that must have cost a lot of money. Alfred: [Comfortably. passing his hand through locks of his hairs] Cost a lot of money indeed! Jane: [pats Alfred hand cozily] Please next time when you are traveling on the back of butterfly can you reserve space for two ? Alfred: [Assuring voice] Sure! |
